@@DougEFresh-mj1xf Morgan Wallen covered it and his version has almost 400,000,000 listens on Spotify. Jason's original has 64,000,000. The cover is far-better 'known' esp. cause Wallen is selling out basketball arena's with ease while Jason plays 1,500 person clubs. So, as much of a bummer as it is, 'the world' generally knows this as a Morgan Wallen song. But Jason's getting paid for the success of the cover, and even though I'm not a Wallen fan generally, his cover is pretty friggin nails, so there's that

I saw him last month in St Augustine and he did not disappoint. I did not get every song I wanted, that would have been an all day concert but I did get a solid two hours of really good stuff.

I saw him and the 400 Unit in July. The band is as tight as it gets. The show is fantastic

Brilliant

A very touching version by a single vocal performance. The Home Free offering is less intense, more full with four melodic harmony added .... sweeter sound in Adam Chance's three register voice lends a far different feel. This is a motion picture sound track kind of great mood lure .... very nice job by Jason. Kudos.

What was the the first song he performed yesterday on The Morning Show? I’m trying to find it not the second song. It’s about alcoholism I think.

It’s about drug addiction. Guy gets injured on the job, becomes addicted to pain pills and loses everything.

I just hope Isbell got the money from Morgan wallen covering this song. It just goes to show, raw talent is only 10% what you need to get a song to the top. The other parts are looks and record label connections.
