Funny I opened the comments Saw this comment Mr Fry read it out for me

Interesting mash-up, the expedition part was done in Alfresco (-Enfield and +Coltrane) and the defective senses bit was later redone in A Bit of Fry And Laurie. Surprisingly good version.

I'm sorry to have to inform Mr John (or is it Elton?) but far from his idea being unprecedented, I have not gone to the Antarctic long before he thought of not going. Come to think of it, so did my next-door neighbour Mrs McAlaistair not go to the Antarctic, and she's 93 next month. Intrepid pioneers? Pshaw! I don't think so!

Elton stands out as the one pretending to be a toff.. The others are..

is the entire audience comprised of duplicates of the 3 scousers from the Harry Enfield sketch? "calm down, calm down!"

Why can't we do that in germany . . .? Oh, i forgot, . . . ,that "sense of humour thing"

The audience clearly wanted to be on Top of the Pops,--but are making do with this intstead .And they spent all that money at the hairdressers too...

Enfield tells about the letter he received. Laurie: Mine was the same. Enfield: Really? So was mine. 😁 It was a good skit but I'm guessing it was funnier when they were writing it and going through it before the show.

See a lot of comments criticizing Ben Elton, but honestly Harry Enfield is the most distracting one in this for me. The voice he's doing sounds too fake compared to the others.
