    Interesting mash-up, the expedition part was done in Alfresco (-Enfield and +Coltrane) and the defective senses bit was later redone in A Bit of Fry And Laurie. Surprisingly good version.

    @@teapot2186 hmm ya all us celts we werent Christian at all were lol u can blaim Christianity but british colonialism start at home all Christian. the romes vikings normans ect gave the english a sorta Stockholm syndrome an they went nuts like isreal today. ideology an man made myths ant to blaim the psychology of a people dictates its behaviour. if a people lack character and awareness they'll behave worse then animals. the english are yet to mature the dutch very much beat them to it so if the english could catch up they may mature.

    I'm sorry to have to inform Mr John (or is it Elton?) but far from his idea being unprecedented, I have not gone to the Antarctic long before he thought of not going. Come to think of it, so did my next-door neighbour Mrs McAlaistair not go to the Antarctic, and she's 93 next month. Intrepid pioneers? Pshaw! I don't think so!

    They were the first to think of not going to the antarctic tied together in the three legged position. They said nothing of being the first not to do it, its all in the mind rather than the action.

    See a lot of comments criticizing Ben Elton, but honestly Harry Enfield is the most distracting one in this for me. The voice he's doing sounds too fake compared to the others.
