I always love watching steatocystomas being drained the goo can be different colours or consistency but I know the build up gets painful causing pressure under the skin and that it's such a relief for the patient having them drained, so it's always good to see them being done

@@jenn0802ifer they’re called steatocystomas. They’re little cysts that are formed in the skins sebaceous glands and are filled with sebum (the puss) and sometimes hair.

I've learned, I think, when to expect a sac and when there won't be any. Thanks Thuy for being so thorough regardless of what issues your clients have.

It always amazes me how many “expert” esthetician’s watch these videos. Most seem to have difficulty remembering the name of the Cosmetology program they completed.. I think they may have become concerned over the lady who was bleeding so badly under her arm. It sure worried me.

there is an Axillary Artery under the armpit. it's extremely dangerous for normal people to deal with the sac removal.

Not even just that! This person is unsanitary, she uses the same gloves thru out the entire process, and never changes them, she also uses a unsanitary blade that has been used on other sites that had an infection, and she didn't remove the sac, so some of these may come back.. I honestly feel bad for these ppl who get this done by ppl like this.. I won't doubt that this person and many others has an infection worse than before

@BOB_Burgers serious question no sarcasm intended. The infection part, since it's the same person is the threat of the infection spreading a big concern since it "Is" the same person, blood, skin, etc? Seriously not being sarcastic maybe I'm just a little slow @ times sorry, lol

@@deanmatheny5089 It can be.. Basically its important to keep these wounds as clean as possible because the puss aka infection can get into the eyes, nose, other wounds, etc.. Then that in its self can cause a really bad eye infection basically like pink eye, or the person could get more acne due to them not cleaning the area.. Does that make sense? It doesn't matter if its your own germs, your body creates cyst, pimples, zits to trap that infection in one area without letting it spread.. When you pop it, you have to be careful not to push the infection inwards, or spread it around the area, as that can cause more cyst, pimples, zits, etc.. Does that make sense? I'm not trying to be disrespectful, just trying to answer your question

@@deanmatheny5089 And when I say "them not cleaning the area" I'm referring to the person with the blade.. This person should be using sanitary tools for every zit, cyst, pimple, etc.. And this person should be changing gloves since the puss is all over the glove.. That can get in other wounds that she's touching, basically reinfecting that area.. This is just a big mess of germs and infection.. For an Ex: have you watched Dr. Pimple popper before? She is a trained specialist, she always cleans the area before operation and always keeps the wound as clean as possible, that includes washing hands before touching, changing gloves, and cleaning all tools after every use to insure no transfer of infections to other areas on the body...

Steatocystomas are the bessssstttttt

These are called Steatocystoma multiplex, which are benign, autosomal dominant congenital condition resulting in multiple cysts on a person's body

In lay terms, it’s genetic. It has nothing to do with diet, lifestyle, hygiene or environment. It’s not chloracne. Yes, the cysts have sacs but they don’t need to be removed.

It's like all these "you didn't remove the sac" people don't get the basic picture. Excision is a surgical procedure. You cannot expect that from an esthetician, only a good surgeon and if you can even access one BELIEVE it will cost you. If you really recognise the burden of such a condition you should support the pursuit of any relief they can access that involves a professional and avoids misguided self-mutilation.

That infected one must have really hurt,i felt that one for her!!! It was a great video,thankyou Thuy🤗😍

If you review the medical literature on Steatocystoma, there are two schools of thought re the sac, one is out, the other is not necessary to remove.

You really should have a doctor prescribe oxycodone 10mg to take 1 hour before the procedure to reduce the pain. This is really painful 😢😢😢😢😢

This doctor does a four step treatment after this and gives them medicine but alot of people have acne and steactomas or how ever you spell it In the beginning of this video is hereditary have no sacs and are not zits no medicine helps and can cause discomfort so they get popped

You can tell the one at 1:40 HURT, but dang those were some good squeezes

For those who are familiar with steatocystoma treatment, and given that this is a close-up view, could someone give me an idea of how deep the knife is actually going into the skin? It looks very deep. Also, many times, it seems as though there's already a little depression in the skin near where the knife is inserted. Is that coincidental, or is that evidence of previous draining.

What is your thing with blood? We know the client will bleed a bit sometimes. But, you get them bleeding and just keep squeezing it and squeezing it like a vampire 🧛
