One thing on our summer bucket list is to visit every playground in our town. It was my 6 years old son's idea. So far we have made it to 5 out of 18. It's been hard finding a nice day. It's been raining here in Indiana so much all summer. I've been taking a picture of the kids together on each playground to make a photo collage. Simple, cheap, fun, happy kids! ❤

I’m sending you a big hug for the loss of your sissy. I know how that works, grief sneaks up on you and KAPOW, the sob comes deep in your soul. And it’s such a reminder of how short life really is. I’m so sorry, she should still be here, helping you hold Wolfgang….and loving you and your family. And of course, his birthday is right around the time you lost her, I remember you mentioning how your postpartum was a tougher because it coincided with the anniversary. Not everyone has the same beliefs, I know that, but I believe we will meet all the people who have gone before us, they’ll be waiting for us, and may even come to get us. (I follow 2 different hospice nurses and they’ll second and third that after working with those that actively dying). Now, to answer your question about my favorite KZread channels. You’re my absolute favorite. Not an empty compliment, just the truth. But I also love Midwest Magic Cleaning, Clutterfree TV, Clean with Barbie (she cleans for free places in NY for people who need help badly. But you need a strong stomach for it, she encounters bugs and mice and hoarding situations that are heartbreaking. I also love Kyle and Amanda on This Crazy Life. Serpa Design, Urbex Indigo, Jessica Tull, Jamie’s Journey, since you like the crime podcast, you might love MrBallen. This Gathered Nest, Katie Van Slyke (horses, baby horses, baby goats). Stauffer garage too.

According to my son who has autism, they are called “Clumsy Cookies” because they fall apart.😂 I’ll call them that forever now! Lol❤

I love pantry clean-outs ❤❤ Can't wait for your closet clean-out 😊 Going along the lines of the "just take the trip" mentality, I've been listening to the book "15 Secrets Successful People Know About Time Management," and he was saying that print the number 1440 or write it on a post-it and put it where you see it everyday as that's the number of minutes in a day so it serves as a constant reminder to make sure you spend time doing the things you actually WANT to do and work towards your goals in life. P.S. If you have audible, that's a good book to listen to and it's only like a little over 3 hours long.

It took me near five years to feel like myself after our third child, fly ahead seven years after that and our fourth (and last) baby is three and I feel mostly like myself but only for the past six months or so. We all have our own time and you will feel like yourself again soon but give yourself time, Wolfgang is still so young. Love watching your videos x

If you catch this Kim your mascara makes your eyelashes so long, what is it and that brow stuff?

I remember watching Chitty-Chitty Bang Bang at the Drive-in as a kid. It was my favorite movie and still holds great memories for me. I make my own egg bites too. So worth it! Love you all

My grandfather grew rhubarb in his garden so it was a staple in our house every year. We would eat plain cooked rhubarb, rhubarb pie, strawberry rhubarb pie, rhubarb crisp, rhubarb cobbler. We loved it. We also had alpine strawberries that would grow in the sand hills behind our house and we kids picked strawberries and ate them till we got our fill. Thus brings back so many good memories for me.

Kim, quick tip for tortilla chips that are stale. Preheat the oven to 300 empty the chips on a cookie sheet and bake 5-7 mins. They're better than when you first open the bag.

When my boys were young one of our 'summer' projects was to make your own teepee tent. We looked in charity shops and collected white sheets, bought cheap poles, tied 3 together in a cross brace and draped the sheets around it. We then let them loose with paints to decorate them, they played for days lol. I live in the UK so rain featured heavily, we had many many 'carpet picnics', everything a picnic gives but on the floor indoors.

The pantry looks fabulous! What a job!

Recommending a channel, Knorpp and South. They have 9 children and do home reno, travel in a rv with total of 11 people, and the mother does furniture makeovers. Right now they are renovating a home and are almost to the point of furnishing and designing their home with thrift store finds. In September the mother will make a pie every day. She is a really good cook. I think you will love it.

My oldest daughter went to Orlando with her school for their senior trip and she LOVED it! 🎉 Danced in the rain and everything. Also, I feel you on the expensive ice cream thing. My 3 year old really wanted strawberry ice cream after the zoo so I tried to get her a strawberry frosty but it didn’t work out so I had to spring for Baskin Robbins - but their “creature creations” are really cute and for the scoop, sprinkles and little cookie it’s $5. Pro tip - go on your birthday and they give you a free scoop ,)

You should really consider going on a cruise! We went on a Royal Caribbean cruise when our kids were little and it was so fun! They had so many really fun activities for the kids to do. And they had early shows in the evening that were totally kid friendly! I would highly recommend. ♡

My summer bucket list is to do more camping, kayaking and go on a hike! I’m loving being in the middle of nowhere lately. As for KZreadrs I love (besides you of course!) I’ve really enjoyed Hannah Duggan. She makes me want to build things. Also Isabel Paige and Rachel Metz.

My hubby and I took a 2 week vacay away from our triplets in May and we did 1 week at disneyworld and 1 week on Royal Caribbean Wonder of the Seas - it was amazing! Yes! Do the trip!! We’ve taken a few cruises and love love love them, I highly recommend RC especially for families and cruises that are 7 days or more are not “party cruises” typically. Hope you have lots of fun on your family trip!!

So your channel is for sure one of my most favorite channels but you asked for another KZreadr to watch I really love Jess and Miah from roots and refuge farm the channel is roots and refuge Jess is an expert in gardening an I like you am not but have learned so much and if you go back to there start it’s quite a journey highly recommend! Have you thought of doing a Disney cruise? Our granddaughter went on one and LOVED it. You can always look for Crumbl cookie dupe recipes and involve all the kids. That would be a blast! And a mess. LOL but you could cross it off your list. We don't do much traveling in the summer because we are in FL for the winter. I usually am working in my flower garden from May until October. Favorite KZreadrs: There's this woman named Kimberly Whisk whom I love, Amy Maryon, The Simplified Saver, Hannah Lee Duggan, Mav (he does truck camping in so many places, and cooks out of his truck.), Taren Denise (fashion for plus sizes), and a few more.

Kimberly Whisk is my favorite KZreadr! Always makes my day on Tuesday Thursday and Saturday's. I have been since you were pregnant with Wentworth.

I love the egg bites. I use a full container of cottage cheese, 12 eggs and had about 1/2 cup of milk or half and half. Salt and pepper to taste and I use whatever cheese I have on hand. We like the sharp cheddar the best. I have used both bacon or breakfast sausage. I usually end up with around 30 egg bites. They freeze beautifully and we use them for quick breakfasts too! Oh we tried soul food seasoning in the last batch and they were awesome! I greatly enjoy your channel! Thank you!!

Idea for kids summer fun!! Treasure hunt!! Bury "treasure" and draw out maps for the kids to follow, dig up, and find.... I did this for my son's birthday at 8 years old and it was a hit!! I buried toy dinosaurs, treasure chests with candies etc...

I have a sous vide and often make the egg bites when company is expected. I always use cream cheese instead of cottage cheese and mix up the types of grated cheeses, based on what we have in the fridge. I also add a little milk or heavy cream.

@@thewadsquadyeah I wouldn’t recommend a cruise until all kids are good swimmers and out of diapers. You can’t use the pool on any cruise with a kids in swim diapers.
