Calligraphy is one of the most amazing things I've ever seen, I've always wanted to learn but I don't currently have enough time to dedicate to it due to work. I always love watching the different pens, tools and styles.

My grandfather went to business school sometime in the 1910's. He had to excel in copperplate penmanship to graduate. That man had the most extraordinary handwriting well into his 90's.

I truly love calligraphy it was my thing long ago. Since I had kids I gave up a lot of things that I loved to do.

Don’t give it up forever ! You’re still your own person and one day the kids leave the nest but you stay. Either alone or with a partner but you still need hobbies ! ❤

I began learning calligraphy when I was in the 7th grade back in the early 90s. I've always loved the art of all styles of lettering. I just wish I had a steadier hand to do some of what I saw in this video!! Absolutely gorgeous work. I could watch nothing but stuff like this and be a very happy person. ❤

I learned different styles of Calligraphy many years ago. Copperplate was always my favorite. ♡

I still write using cursive. It was like a right of passage when you started learning cursive at 7 years old in elementary school (47 years ago).

Love them, love them all! I've recently gotten into "art" writing/lettering. I have a lot to learn.

yep when you come in my room i have many many many many many many paintings and sketches all over my room. still im 8 years old girl and im a artist , here's my story how i became a artist. i becme a artist when i was 3 years old i became a artist . i painted walls and also drew on walls. then i practiced coloring then sketching and now im a artist. and i became a artist by my self i mean like no one teached me how to do arts i became an artist by my own.

Practice, practice, practice! My handwriting has improved leaps and bounds over the years with just being more conscious of it. Slow down, take your time and try advice from people on KZread who have the skills you want. Something that helped me was to use grid paper and be thoughtful about the way each letter occupies the square it’s in. Take up most of the square in a balanced, aesthetically pleasing way
