A lil explanation : at first Kuroo *loved* first Bokuto and all, but when he met Kenma he got also *a little crush* on Kenma. He thought Bokuto *didn't loved him back* because Bokuto was trying to put Kuroo and Kenma together (in this AU kuroo and bokuto knew each other before kuroo know kenma) cuz Bokuto *thought too Kuroo didn't love him back.* And kuroo understood after this lyric prank that *bokuto loved him and still love him* but Kuroo can't do anything because he's already with Kenma and *like* him. But if Bokuto wasn't trying to put Kenma and Kuroo together, maybe Bokuroo would be together. I insist on the "love" and *like* because : Kuroo *like* Kenma but he *love* bokuto too We can say that bokuto is his soulmate? He has a strongest chimistry with Bokuto and he would be more satisfied with bokuto. But he's stuck in this situation where he'll always hurting one of them and so he decided to do nothing? Because he knew bokuto will feel guilty if kenma is heartbroken by his (bokuto) fault. So they're both not satisfied.
