You can select milestones before you’re ready to complete them. They will sit in the top right of the screen as a reminder of what you need to produce.

Baddies do respawn, but not near working machinery. So you won't be repeatedly bothered around your factories as long as you keep them powered. Suggestion : Make the chainsaw the next project. You'll be collecting lots of wood that way. Don't forget to process it into Biomass before burning.

The bush gathering is kinda supposed to be tedious, its easier if you just collect a few thousand at once tho less individual trips. It gets better with biofuel especially if you have a constructor make said biofuel for you, biofuel has like a 10x burn time to leaves and wood. Later on you then get a chainsaw that makes gathering easier. But the ultimate goal is eventually unlocking better automatable power like coal.

As for the burn rate youre seeing, biomass burners only burn at a ratio needed to provide the neccessary power up to the listed 0.2 and 5 seconds respectively at 30mw of use. Basically dont worry about it its doing the right thing just swap to biomass fuel asap and keep feeding em.

Definitely do this (collect as much biomass as possible and convert it to more efficient forms). I’d also recommend building many more burners than you need because you won’t have to refuel so often (because the power draw is spread across more burners each burner uses less of its own fuel - of course overall you use the same amount). Basically if you have more burners you have a larger fuel buffer.

Congrats on making it through the tutorial! You're catching on quick! U just unlocked biofuel. Be sure to use it!! And make a mad dash for Coal power. Once you have Coal power set up, you no longer have to collect bushes. so that should be your main goal going forward. Unlock Coal Power and set up a Coal power Plant. But as for little things, exploring has huge benefits in the form of crash sites. each crash site will have a new hard drive that contains a new "recipe" or "blueprint" plus tons of scraps to give you a leg up on things.
