    This has to be the most informative instruction on how to do the satin stitch neatly. Cotton may be somewhat forgiving but silk is not so I am so grateful that after 50 years of hand sewing I no longer have to fill in stupid gaps I've accidentally made because of my lack of knowledge. So simple but solves a multitude of problems. Thank you so much and I hope you do more videos in the future (or a book, that would be nice).

    Ive been doing satin stitch for decades....wrongly. I was never happy with it and tried avoiding it. Doing an embroidery just now and it bugged me so much i came on youtube to try and improve . So glad i found you, THE best explanation I have ever seen! Thank you

    I used to hate satin stitch so much and always wondered how it turned so flat . Last month too I ended up with some flat looking oranges🍊 . Now I got it .Thanks a load for your explanations ❤

    Mine when I have done them turn out gappy. Do you need to do base stitching in the bed of the image being sewn before the satin stitching over the top
