MrMotherfuck123 I won't beat ya for the comment lol.. Sounds like a 4/4 beat to a 9/6 or 7/4 bar during the pre chorus. It does help lose the momentum of the beat for a sec.. but comes right back. Just look at it as a creative musical moment for that part of the song.. so it is very much planned and executed as they wrote it. Alot of bands/musicians do it (JAZZ).. calling it "odd beat" or a "time signature change". In this case, its very very brief of a change. So good on you for catching it! Dont let the other comments bring ya down lol
