All of them are desperate in that matter. Sasuke would have killed Naruto before Shippuden started if it wasn't for Kurama, and then tried to kill him sum more in Shippuden. Yet, Naruto still considers him his brother and would die for him. Sasuke had the intent to kill Kakashi after the Danzo fight, yet Kakshi, as a hokage, forgave him and excused his terrorist activities after the war very quickly. Karin would be dead now, if it wasn't for Sakura but she also forgave him after one "Sorry". I like Sasuke in Boruto but I was always disappointed how easily everyone forgave him after the war. The guy was a criminal, former member of Akatsuki, attacked the kages, had plans to destroy Konoha, but all of this was forgotten and forgiven in less than 10 mins after the war arc.

@@sevda3337 I was annoyed at first, but eventually was fine with Sasuke being forgiven; I mean, if Nagato, Obito, and even bloody Orichimaru can be forgiven, then whatever. What irks me is that Sakura's character development becomes reset; I can understand her considering Sasuke a friend again, but still loving him and marrying him? It's absurd. I thought she was going be like her mentor, Tsunade, moving on from romance to become a healer, but no.

@@user-lb9xw4xf2q yeah, I am also glad he was forgiven but just hoped it took him more than a "sorry". As for Sakura, her loving Sasuke was one of her main personality traits throughout the whole series. I really wanted her to become firmer in Shippuden but am not at all surprised that didn't happen.

Out of all the “villains” that exist, Sasuke is probably the one who did the least damage to Konoha as an entity lmao. If they let genocidal mfs like Danzo who has actually damaged the damn village along with its people run around freely and even have political power in the village, why wouldn’t they let someone like Sasuke back? Especially when the dude changed 180 degrees and decided to basically serve the village for the rest of his life, even if that means he has to be constantly outside of it.

It is NOT Itachi's susano'o. It is Sasuke's alone. Sasuke already got the Mangekyo Sharingan after knowing the truth about Itachi, and anyone who has it gets there own form of susano'o.

Sasuke>Naruto, 6-0. 1-0 - Early academy (chapter 538). 2-0 - Late academy (chapter 3 - Naruto failed to keep him restrained which was his plan). 3-0 - Final Valley. 4-0 - Orochimaru's hideout 5-0 - Hunting for Itachi - Sasuke dispatched Naruto's shadow clone (Konoha intended to find & capture him). 6-0 - Samurai bridge - knocked out from the poison-laced kunai extremely exhausted near blind Sasuke held after he stalemated Rasengan.

Sasuke is someone who has repressed his feelings and emotions for so long, this is a moment when he's finally letting it out in a rage. I think it makes perfect sense and makes him feel more human over the "I'm calm and better than you" attitude.

He spent 9 years training to surpass his brother for betraying and murderering their clan. Even left Konoha to gain power from an evil mass murderer. Then after fighting Itachi to the death he learned their clan was discriminated and Itachi was manipulated to wipe them out. He hunted down the mastermind, fought through many samurai and shinobi then had a lengthy battle killing him. Then Team 7 appeared. Sakura trying to kill him in secret, a ruse he easily saw through. Kakashi still preaching about giving up revenge and Naruto still speaking about friendship. Of course he's pissed.

I'd say Naruto is pretty good up until Sasuke surrenders to Orochimaru. After that the writting is so bad it's not worth a damn. I don't know what's worse, making Sasuke unlikeable af and pretty much irredeemable or Naruto's INSANE stalker-like pathological obsession in "saving him"
