if u know german ud feel the emotion as well especialy with the voice crack sadly naruto has not the best og german dub in the compleate performance like translationa ccuracy and so on accuracy especialy sufferes with insults they arent offten as hard on the other hand the english dub text is not much better what in the world did they thought when phrasing almighty push? sounds ridicolous

Well, for sure, the French dub doesn't have the same intensity as the english or japanese one. I feel that while those translate an absolute anger from Sasuke, the french dub is more about the "exhaustion" he has towards his relationship with Naruto. For example his last sentence "Just give up and let me cut you down!". In French, it would be more alike of : "What do I have to do to eliminate you? I can't stand it anymore ( I had enough/ I'm exhausted). Let me break this bond that exist between us." (Translating literally) Which I don't think is bad, but is surely different from the original take.

I thought I was the only one that noticed that! Thank God somebody else said it lol first half was better in Japanese yes, but the ending bit felt better in English thanks to the delivery, and "already!" being added to the final line to me heightened the emotional craze Sasuke seemed to be feeling at the moment. Both had their pros.

The reason why japanese is just so much better than any other language is because they actually do it with love, when the camera distances itself from sasuke the japanese VA screams like hes in sasukes place while french simply reads the text, german and english did a better job than french, but still no where near japanese

I think the Japanese and English nailed it in this case. Only part the Japanese above the English is the first “and over” has just an awkward pause in the middle of it that takes away some of the emotion of the scene imo. But that’s what sometimes happens when you gotta dub

Not only that, but the lip flaps made for the animation were made to fit the Japanese script. So voice actors might not get to emphasize the words "over and over" in the same way without it looking weird timing wise due to a difference in syllables between the languages.

C'est impossible de faire une traduction en conservant exactement le sens originel, et je trouve que la France arrive à leur donner quelque chose en plus
