If you think about it, being an orphan, but having met his mom once and his dad twice and fought with his dad. He probably has the most fantasized and idolized opinion of his mom and dad. We get to see how it pained him when he punches Minato upon meeting him, but upon meeting Kushina he goes on about how beautiful and nice she is. Then he got to see Minato reincarnated in the war. So he probably matured and while it was really hard for him as an orphan he sees his dad as the strongest shinobi and his mom as the kindest and most understanding and wants the children of the leaf to see their parents in the same way while they still get to have their parents unlike him.

Well, from what Ive seen in the series kakashi looks like a weird uncle.

i think it’s part of his trauma that held sasuke back from connecting with his daughter, but gosh he sure did try here

kakashi's motivation in this is: 1. finding a new friend who reads that book (after jiraiya's passing), which implies gai hates reading 2. revenge for that time sasuke tried to kill him and sakura

Yeah...They dont exist in the manga and since the anime just ended and Blue Vortex is more serious, filler is not necesary, Pierrot maybe will just adapt the manga in 12 chpater seasons.

One redeeming quality about this show is that seeing Shino grow up to be so animated and reactive is very entertaining lol.

Gold moments and jutsu that will only matter and be seen one time.

One of Boruto's biggest flaw as a serie to me is how in order to let the new generation shines and have their own moments of growth, they have to nerf the adults we grew up with, both in strength but also common sense, making the old generation that basically led a revolution in the ninja world seem incompetent. It was always going to be near impossible to let the new generation of twelve years old compete with the godlike powers or experience they parents already reached in their teenagehood. Though I do recognize showing them getting softer because they achieved the peace they sought is sweet, they're now in incredible danger against an enemy that is far removed from the ninja world and laws they knew. Truly a shame to ruin beloved characters in order to prop up the newest ones nevertheless.

No. The adults in Naruto were exactly that, OP and it worked, was awesome and made sense. We learned with the kids, saw them grow up, and navigated the ninja world with them.

None of the old cast is ruined lol Naruto and Sasuke are extremely OP, Rock Lee is the leader of the Leafs task force x, Sakura is the best med nin in the world, Shikamaru is the brains of the entire village, Sai is the leader of the black ops, Ino invented and leads a whole new intel and security force for the leaf, Choji mastered his butterfly form and can use it at will... Who got nerfed/ruined? You gotta take the nostalgia goggles off.

bro how are they nerfed again (before the Ishiki arc)? Sasuke no longer holds his reinegan when using too much chakra. Naruto saying he can take down a Kaguya level threat all by himself now and Kakashi has gotten much stronger without his sharingan to the point he can stop the flow of ocean with his advance mud wall. Heck even Sakura gotten stronger if you watched the anime. It's not the characters who got nerfed, it's the enemies who have gotten stronger. We have literal gods here,some can change the size of any living creature,some can reverse time and all of them can absorb Ninjutsus. If you are talking about why Naruto and Sasuke don't do full Kurama Susano mode then it's no to give free exp to the Otutusukis, but even then we have a moment Jigen punching Sasuke and Naruto out of their Giant avatar, yeah ONE SINGLE PUNCH. Yeah, the old ones needs to go for the next gen to pop up, Kishimoto himself said it in 2018 that if it requires to kill old characters for wriing he would glaly do so. If not, then we would have something similar to DBZ and DBS, where even after becoming a grandpa and saying multiple times that the new gen are stronger, oku and Vegeta are still on the main cast and story is not developing for others at all (until the super heroes movie).I

From what I understand, that was because of the backlash from killing off Goku when most of the fan base was still obsessed with him. Instead of fans appreciating the great send off, wrap up story with the Cell saga and Gohan being beautifully set up to be the main character with the whole "first to ever surpass Super Sayian" and the hybrid Sayian DNA being stronger than pure Sayian story that would've gone forward, fans were like "ok but now I want to see Goku turn SS2". That's why we got the Buu saga and SS3 Goku because now Goku HAS to get all the new Sayian power-ups first then Vegeta 2nd. Gohan still has his "mysterious untapped potential" but it seems like Toriyama isn't gonna get back to that plot anytime soon

Even though some of Boruto's technology resembles an era of Millennials (mobile game consoles, customized playing cards, computers, evolving transmission devices, etc..) in the real world, the new gen cast really reminds me of Gen Z. Haha.

Particle Style without Turning Things to Zero

I can’t help but notice the life of a jonin is depicted vastly different in the new series. It’s very much similar to adult life in the real world. However, I’m OG Naruto ninja missions and teaching genin seemed much more important. I understand the world in this time is at piece. However, from what they show there is still conflict that requires attention. Yet the adults from the previous generation don’t seem to be fulfilling those roles. Seems like a major plot point that challenges the story narrative. I’m most likely wrong somehow. So I welcome other peoples opinion on the matter! :)
