been waiting for this video. even back then i knew sasuke surviving his fight with deidara wasn’t bullshit nor was it a case of massive plot armor. at least sasuke actually did something to survive the explosion unlike sukuna with the hollow purple that should've killed him.

Sasuke PR team reporting for duty. He was always my favorite in the series growing up and he still kinda is. He's a fun character to meme on and both his eng and jp voices are excellent. You gotta admit my suggestion would probably also fit the tierlist. Leadership skills, intelligence, trust in someone to cooperate, and most of the Top Tiers being women or good wingmen.

That madara take should be ice cold. He was tiered adter a fight after getting stabbed like 15 times by the same guy they barely won. Also, boruto, whether it's good writing or not, is strong. Great analysis as always👍, but what about Danzo video? 🤨 Random stuff: When Itachi talks about EMS we see a Demon in background who has 4 eye sockets but 2 were empty and When Sasuke takes Itachi's MS we see that demon with all 4 eyes. So yeah 2 pairs of MS = 2 pair of EMS. I really liked how Sasuke listened to his Daughter's wish even thou whole time he was thinking about Boruto as Kawaki.

Love this character, probably the most sensibly written until like the last 10 chapters where he really starts losing me with his fucking I want to be hokage, I'll take the hate bullshit. I'd also have loved for Kishimoto to maybe make Naruto and Sasuke genuinely good friends, and have ANY kind of chemistry between him and Sakura, but honestly that poor girl gets tossed to the sidelines and thrown to the wolves with the "I've finally caught up with them" crap, he actually really should have shown her growth on panel at all, much less having some development time with Sasuke

Personally, it came off to me as a way for Kishimoto to manufacture a reason for Naruto and Sasuke to have a big final DBZ battle. Sasuke's conclusions regarding wanting to be Hokage and kill the current Gokage and the Biju, and essentially become a wannabe God Emperor Leto II, are just so UNCHARACTERISTICALLY narcissistic, delusional and frankly stupid, because he completely misses the point of Itachi and his story. The manga acknowledges this via Naruto basically saying that verbatim, however the story acknowledging that does not magically make it good writing. It comes out of left field, and is genuinely just a poorly thought out reason for a much shallower version of the final battle than the one in Part 1. Part of it is also me always thinking that the Naruto-Sasuke friendship was one of the most underwritten, and exhausting parts of the manga that Kishimoto kept trying to cover up with childhood flashbacks, so seeing it culminate like that was a bit cringeworthy to me because it just came down to shonen melodrama at the end of the day. Not a fan of the last 100 or so chapters of the Naruto manga ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Big time Sasuke glazer here, the one reason he lost at the vallet of the end agaisnt Naruto was because he apparently exhausted his rinnegan after using universal pull once, amenotejikara a few times and the preta path’s chakra absorption once. If he could still use preta path after indra’s arrow, he would have won and the one reason he wasn’t able to was the plot. The other point is that he is “atoning for his sins” that he commited in shippuden so even though he told Sakura she had nothing to do with his sins, he is lowkey highkey nerfing his clan by not reproducing with Karin.

How would it even be possible to restore his clan? Wouldn’t it just be an endless lineage of halfbloods until his blood is completely gone?

I never understood why some people called Vegeta "egdy" or anything like that. I mean, sure, he wasn't the social type for a while and didn't want to rely on others. Sasuke is definitely weird, but I can understand it. He had trauma from his clan dying and got mindfucked by itachi (that was so excessive itachi) making him devote his entire life for revenge causing him to even isolate from others. Then when he finally achieved his goal he learned the whole time it was his village's fault. The fact his whole clan was slaughtered for a petty reason is reasonable to set him over the edge ( uchiha don't handle trauma well). Then after killing again and again I kinda interpret that as him feeling aimless and just lashing out at the world since no matter what he do his clan will not come back and there will always be a next target to blame. He seemed stuck in the grieving phase and he lacked actual life experience beyond pain as well as a support system that won't just gaslight or enable this mindset. He never had someone challenge this mentality besides naruto to keep pushing like how kakashi had guy and minato to stop him from going further with the anbu route. At the end the only reason sasuke even changed was bc naruto actually understood his situation by losing people he valued, have his entire clan betray him, being alone, and having a deep hatred inside of you for others (that was part of the kurama training). This was the same reason gaara changed and talk no jutsu only works when both parties can see themselves in other people and deep down that person is looking for an escape that seems impossible no other way (either destroying everything or subjugation). I do think kakashi definitely should have a bigger role bc those two were so similar too kishimoto and I want more kakashi content.

Sasuke should have had Orochimaru clone the Uchiha clan from the eyes left in the hideout that Obito had. Instant clan revival and they all would likely have the mangekyo since those eyes have experienced the massacre of their entire clan.

I think Sasuke might have gotten the worst treatment out of the Shippuden generation lot in the new gen. At the moment, he's not much different from a used up rag that's been thrown away.

Naruto keeps searching for him, and he is really not worth it. He constantly makes bad decisions, constantly acts as if he's better than everyone else around him, he isn't fun or interesting, being strong is not a character trait (it is not interesting, or compelling), he never faces repercussions for his actions or has to say sorry for anything, I'm not sure he ever grew up, Itachi just told him to stop bitching, and he kept bitching until he stopped. Mind you this might be because I just never really liked him, if you like him or find him cool that is alright, I haven't read Naruto in a while too so I might be wrong on some thing (haven't read or seen Boruto).

He sacrificed himself for choji, had really tactical fights, wasn't really the strongest yet his tactics always kept him in the fight, had a traumatic backstory and yet he overcame that pain to help save more lives, and his fights are always cool. Rewatching the seried really makes it harder to defend sasuke when he had it far worse.

@@enumaelish9193 Nagato is peak and while I agree Kakashi is well written, he is used too little for me to think he’s better written than Sasuke, who is the deuteragonist and drives the plot far more than the MC does. Also, Sasuke’s actions make sense when you consider he’s a genocide survivor from a clan who was subject to discrimination in the village they gave their lives to protect. I’m not saying he’s perfect, but that’s why he’s so great: he’s a flawed and compelling character.

Haven't watched the full video yet, but in Orochimaru and Sasuke's defence, Itachi was HIM, he was quite literally built different from everyone in the series not Naruto or Sasuke. (i.e. including all their ancestors + the aliens and shit)

You need a slide show explaining why Sharingan is over glazed, why Rinnegan is over glazed, and why Byakugan is actually pretty good. Naruto was my childhood and I'm one of those rare Sakura fans. I should have been happy that she married her first and only love, but I've always disliked Sasuke. My favourite male characters were actually Kakashi, Naruto and Shikamaru.

Info drop, Sasuke didnt wanna revive his clan anymore right after learning his clan's secrets and their uncanny affinity to being consumed by hatred. He was getting the Vegeta treatment after an avenger realizes the mistakes and sins their family has made. If I was Sasuke, i wouldnt revive them either, not like he was asked to be born. He was somehow born as an Uchiha, and bore the weight of the sins of his ancestors and Indra. It sparked pity in Sasuke, not vengeance amidst of Shippuden.

What annoyed me was Sasuke trying to get stronger explicitly to beat Naruto right. Then he meets itach and fight kabuto who tells him the exact location who and where he learns such op sage mode abilities that made it hard for both ems Sasuke and itachi to fight ironically has high success chance of mastering and he does nothing. What happened to getting stronger to beat Naruto 😅

The only other character who was as delusional and confused as Sasu-gay was the author Kishimoto himself. To this day I question myself: which series was a bigger letdown : GOT S8 or Naruto Shit-ppuden.
