Sassys rant during the funeral is pure poetry. The profound hate towards Rupert and how she has Rebecca’s back is perfect.

“I do wish you the best. Because you are the fucking worst.” Incredible line, I may borrow it…

Came to quote this very line. I love the line and the delivery, pauses just long enough then twists the dagger.
Sassy was the unvarnished honesty in this series. She spoke it to Rebecca, to Ted, and especially to Rupert. I loved that she didn't come close to mincing words with him. She told him exactly what he was, every word dripping with well-deserved poison. Everybody needs a Sassy as a best friend ... and nobody dares having her as an enemy.
One of very few flaws of the series was not giving Sassy more screen time. She had amazing chemisty with Ted during their fling.

I think it is cool how they showed that when rebecca tried to play rupert's own game against him, she was unable to win in the conversation, but when sassy met him, she just killed him.
I memorized Sassy’s funeral lines. Oh it’s one of those lines you just can’t get enough. Sassy Smurf is the best!
Every women 'NEEDS' a best like Sassy in their lives.

There are a lot of men that could do with one as well.
Every script in the show was perfection
Love Sassy! Would have liked to see more of her.
Her nickname "Sassy" is well earned 😅

For the longest time watching this show I thought that was her actual name
Having lived in the UK, that kind of directness is actually common. The Brits I knew would call you out, but then you’d both move on; no sugarcoating or wallowing in pity.
Sassy is savage 😂
Part of me wishes that Ted and Sassy would’ve gotten together
Karma...delivered stunningly. SASSY!
I was disappointed that Ted and Sassy did not end up together

I love Sassy
Everyone needs a Sassy in their lives.
She is a brilliant comedian. Check her stand-up.
Sassy truly lived up to her name 😂
I was waiting for this exact video 😆

Love Sassy what a lady
Seeing giles actor play someone who’s just such a realistic type of shithead is, like, dizzying
Ted should have pursued her more determinedly. She was just what he needed.

I disagree. She made it really clear that she was only interested in a physical relationship and Ted is a family man. He doesn’t put out the vibes of a guy that just wants to sleep with someone. Personality wise, I think Ted and sassy were just way too far apart.
@EX7Sonic

No way it would've worked anyway. Ted wasn't going to move his son across the pond and Sassy probably wouldn't have dropped everything to move her and her daughter to Kansas.

Absolutely not: Sassy even pointed out why that would have been a terrible idea, too

Ted is the kind of guy who respects a woman when she says no. Particularly when it's "God no".
@mjjoe76

@@brendaguillermo127 Yes. What she told him bothered Ted, but he realized she was right and respected what that meant for any relationship with her.
Making Rupert a super villain with eyeliner and a trench coat was a little much. In the end, Ted should have hired the therapist for Rupert. Rupert getting help should have been the ultimate goal of the show that no body saw coming.
@theodorefigueroa9339

That's not how therapy works. You have to choose to be there you don't "get it assigned". Rupert was firm in his ways and he doubled down as his consequences finally started to catch up. So naturally they showed that in the series.

Not everyone has a redemption arc, and not everyone wants to be saved. I think they were very intentional with the contrast between Nate and Rupert. And the differences between Rupert's narcissism and Jamie's narcissism. In the end, Nate and Jamie both wanted to change and heal the harm they'd done, while Rupert just didn't.

Giles?!
She is so hostile to him. Perhaps there's more there than meets the eye. A woman scorned?
The only character more annoying that’s Sassy was her over-mouth arrogant daughter, Nora.

She was officially awesome. Ted and Sassy showed how to deal with Ted. After the Darts scene Rupert barely spoke to Ted again. He knew he got schooled. They both see him as a bully
