Waters cold and crisp, chalky sand underfoot,
The call of gull and smell of seaweed,
As the waves crash to earth once more, then ebb on tide back to sea and start again.
To journey alone is to find one’s magic, another creature on the dunes, bare of feet and worry free, no one’s foot prints but my own.
To share is complete, to dream with food and drink, an island of regroup in an ocean of solitude, a haven in simplicity, before the journey begins again.
