After reading her story, I'm questioning if maybe he didn't intentionally take advantage of her. He knew she was upset from seeing her recent ex-boyfriend's new girlfriend arrive at her birthday party the night before. Then he brings gives her the mocking Miss Piggy doll and whale fart card, which is really a put down for a young lady whose a bit overweight but must laugh it off as a funny gift from a friend. It's certainly not something he'd give to someone he had a crush on. Then he gets the tray of 10 shots (which wasn't something he was know to do) and gets her really drunk and so... on the story goes. Then he stops all contact (after 2 years of friendly get togethers, calls and texting) and she never sees or talks to him again. Why? He knew he was guilty. She must have been devastated at what happened. The only cure for that shame she endured is the grace she has silently show all these years. It's hardly surprising she felt compelled to correct the misleading and humiliating story he told.

Can't be sued because he was careful not to name her in the book. If she had any "sense" at the time she could have cashed in at the time. Drunk girls can't legally consent and he would not want the story to come out back then.
