I got bio instead of adaptive on mine, I'm an assault. Was that a mistake??

Yea, since they fixed the bug where you get more health with bio with guns that shoot more than one bullet like shotguns. Also dont core any of your red equipment, save them to core better black armor and weapons like black shockfield.
