Sardis does sound a lot like American society today, and certainly pricks me in the spirit. I have denied Christ in my actions. I must repent, humble myself, and seek his face, and turn from my evil ways. Forgive me Lord.

Cairo, Jan, do you really think you had a choice? Yes there are many gods, but only one God. No other belief has the profit of salvation through belief alone. And that is only applicable if you believe in Jesus Christ in your heart and confess Him through your words. No other time in history as we know it, before Christ, has offered this. We are living in the time of salvation, where when we hear the Good Shepherd calling, we simply obey. Bc only the sheep know the shepherd's voice, which means that there was already a relationship between the two. We are called, not recruited

Excellent presentation, analysis, message. Thank you. JESUS is the First and the Last, holding the keys of life, death, hell and the breath of every living thing. He is the only Righteous Judge of all to Whom each and every one will give an account.

Thank you for this presentation! You cannot place a greater importance (or wakeup call) of when Joe mentions how we are in the "Get Along Age". I feel, as Christians, we are about to be put to the test, particularly here in the United States, of persecution for following the Christ. Brothers and Sisters in Christ need more than ever to head HIS word and band together to further HIS Kingdom.

Good message. Some years ago it occurred to me that the churches of Revelation could be types that can apply to churches throughout history, including the present time. I was going through a time where the Lord seemed ready to give me an immediate answer to pretty much any query I had of Him, and I asked if one of the prophecies there applied to 'us', by which I meant the church as I had experienced it. At the time I could not have remembered the names of more than one or two of the churches in Revelation, but He immediately said to me the one word: 'Sardis'. This video has given me some context in which I might better understand what He said to me. It is sobering to think the same complacency and desire to conform in the present day has lead much of the Church to make the same self-serving compromises.

The era that fits this time is the final church...Ladiocia. Because the primary application of the 7 churches is the history of the church. How it started out pure but over time evolved into what it is today...rich and increase with goods and has need of nothing.

The best interpreter of scripture, is scripture. Revelations is built upon prophecy, which the congregations will be used to proclaim the message before the Day of judgement. God's telling us in 7 (# for Holy) different messages everything we need to hear to "let him have (spiritual) ears to hear (through the Holy Spirit to lead) congregations" in all generations; the 7 stars are Apostolic leaders of a congregation which are needed to take an inventory of the spiritual condition of every congregation ....... 'Church/Congregation: God's giving us 7 different (messages) to congregations to set us apart, as believers, to have a sancifying influence, warning all congregations of areas of weaknesses in disunity which gives Satan a door to come in through and the judgement that will be set upon if not corrected; these are the areas of weaknesses that He has foresaw that can, will, and have, devour a church if not spiritually maintained ........

You know what especially this of the get along and the vomptomise are so true today. The same spirit of antichrist is rising with the same tribulations. Also the beleivers and their situations as different as we are from one another it s like the message reaches us personally and is noy bound by time as situations are repeating themselves! Glory to God and To Ou Saviour Jesus Christ whose blood redeemed the earth from the sins commited on it. He died and rose so we may live!

I Second That

I've strayed away from God and now making my way back home. I see the storm clouds on the horizon and I will have to make choices that will seal my fate soon. I want to be prepared to make the choice to stand with Jesus. Choosing Jesus will mean I may not be able to buy food, have a home it could mean death, so I want to be ready to make that choice. Thank you soooo much for these words. They're a blessing to my spirit.

For those who inquire about those who have never heard the gospel, Jesus tells us in Matthew 24:14 (KJV) “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” He is such a loving Savior and ensures that every nation (no matter how remote the location), will have heard the gospel before He returns. No one will be able to successfully offer up the excuse that they never knew that Jesus is the only way to everlasting life. We serve a God who created the different languages and dialects and will send His messengers throughout the world to proclaim the good news of the Gospel. Praise Jesus for His unending love and mercy!

Persicution of Christians will always be there from the beginning and to the end. Jesus had tribulation so will you NO one can escape this since we are in this WORLD but Jesus saved us and took us out of this WORLD. AMEN 🙌

Jesus wás the way to His Father (the cross). "For He HAS dedicated a new, life-giving way for us to approach God. For just as the veil was torn in two, Jesus' body was torn open to give us free & fresh access to Him". Hebrew 10:19,20 *The NT is all about boldness and with no hesitation. Blessings!
