Our favorite!!

Great review! 👍 Saratoga Springs is my new favorite. I used to stay at in the DVC 1-Bedroom villas at Wilderness Lodge but, especially at night, the Lodge is so isolated. Quiet but isolated. I love the many restaurants and shops in the Springs just across the way! And, it’s still fairly quiet at night. Like I said, great review! Although I do miss the convenient boat ride back to the Lodge after a long day in the MK…

thanks so much! what i love about Disney Resorts is theres something for everyone! i want to stay in congress park next time we stay there! proximity to Disney Springs cant be beat and you can watch the drone show right from the resort!

Thank you for your review. What time do the boats normally run? I'm thinking about going to Olivia's for breakfast.

thank you! the boats usually run from 10:30am to 11 pm and come every 20 minutes. however if your trying to get from SSR to OLW, youll have to take the boat to disney springs. then from disney springs to OKW. another way is by walking. there is a trail that runs along the river between the resorts and would take about 30 minutes. 3rd option is a ride share. hope this helps.

I’m trying to decide between Saratoga Springs and Old Key West for my upcoming first time trip to WDW. Which would you recommend?

First of all, that's very exciting you are planning a trip to Disney! Both have similar transportation options and are similarly priced. Personally, I would go with Old Key West because of its relaxed beachside theming. It's also much smaller than Saratoga, which I prefer. The rooms at Saratoga are more updated though.
