Saral Lake | Neelam Valley | Azad Kashmir | Pakistan
We started our trekking From Dodipatsar. And from there one hour walk is on the flowery steep slopes where you have to scramble on every step as your both feet will not be parallel, your left foot will be on the higher side and right foot will be on the lower side. After this sloppy trek there is a small peak in the way before Saral gali, it is a 25 minutes hike but very steep, it is almost eighty degree vertical peak but it takes only 20 to 25 minutes to scale on it and on the other side there are small but dangerous glacier and a rocky path, there is no defined way to cross this path and glacier but your guide can leads you through this way. As soon as you will cross the Saral gali(16,000 feet) there will be a broad view for you of the Saral Valley, this is the most magnificent view of this trek, on your right hand side is a bit rocky view of Jalkhad Top and below is Beautiful Saral Lake surrounded in the flowery hills, from this point view of Saral Lake is breathtaking, on the slopes around you there are wild alpine flowers, Saral Lake is situated in the heart of the mountains near the Gumut National Park. The nearest top is the Noorisar top which is one of the highest points of the entire park. The elevation of the lake itself is 13,600 feet above the sea level you can camp down on the side of little stream or walk for another two to three hours to reach waters of Saral Lake and camp on the side of Saral Lake, on the way you can see Marmots and other herd of animal wandering in the valley. In the month of July you can see iceberg floating on its blue waters. Its background is really stunning with glaciers coming from sides and high mountains. Local people of Saral Lake are very friendly and hospitable, we have enjoyed their hospitality. It is suggested to take excess medicines specially pain killer for them as they are living away from cities and they need emergency medicines. From Saral Lake you have to come back to Jalkhad top and then on the Jalkhad-Sharda jeep road from here you go to Jalkhad or Noori Top and Sharda.

Ma sha Allah, Amazing expedition, could you please give me some info about wildlife(wild animals specifically) of these areas(Mula ki basti, Dudpatsar national park and saral pass area), i need some authentic information, as i want to visit these areas for wildlife photography. thanks for the complement and yes you'll find here Many wild animals like (Marmot, Sheep, winter horse ) & trout fish in Dudipat sar lake. also if you watch our dudipat sar lake video you'll see Marmotl.
You must had an amazing time. I'm a huge fond of hiking and trekking & I have been at Dudipat Sar lake and ratti gali this july. Next year Insha Allah I'm going to visit Saral lake through sara pass. Bro from which side of the Dudipat sar lake you started trekking towards Saral Gali ? I'm asking this because I never take porter's assistance.

Bro after eid we have planing of dudipat ,saral lake and ratti galli and I have few questions plz answer (1) does this trek (from basel) is accesible from (25 june to 5 july) or there will be snow and postpone trip (2) We want to go ratti gali after dudipat and saral what will be the best option to go ratti gali lake From saral to nori top than ratti gali Or from saral to sharda than dawrian and than to ratti gali from dawrian side Or any other easy option to rati gali from saral pass or lake (3) 3rd when u did this trip bcz its lush green in these days (date and month) (4) it not question one request i saw ur vedio of skardu trip but it was only vedio plz explain us like u did in dudipat and saral lake visit it is very informative to us.. hassan raza hey Hasan Saral lake best and easiest route is Basel to mulla ki basti to wards dudipat sar lake and then next to saral... Its a very easy track but takes 2 days and must be watch our Dudipat sar lake video then this complete information have these video but if u want more information then share your contact no I'll explain on call .
