Great session. I love how Sarah approaches giving advice and encouragement to these amazing young horn players. Loved the 'Four Corners' - a novelty for me.
I'm totally in love in the way you give lessons to your students. I played Oboe for a long time but I wish I had a teacher that gives me the same enthusiastic like you...
i love this woman! very very nice personality
Bravo! The last piece was fantastic will all of you horn players with SarahWillis playing wit you.
So true, Sarah. These are some special young players. Really exciting to think where horn playing will be when they are in full flower.
Thank you.Love the work you are doing, may it continue.(Sarah, that is).
Great tips/instruction through a few videos I've watched. Keep up the great work!
I play flute....but love your classes !!☝☝☝
Bravo!
Never knew prince harry played the horn
But why are the courses soooooo expensive? In Germany the courses are either free or very reasonable :-( I feel so sorry for the young musicians in the UK saddled with huge debt. Music has become available only too upper middle class children and that's sad.....

Come the us and you'll see what's worse lol
Huh - an outsider asks: What is this special horn sound at 6:14 (and also later in the "Four Corners" performance, 11:57)?

Hi! Saw your comment and as a hornplayer decided to answer. It is full-stopped note, so you basically cover the hole with your right hand. It raises a pitch half step, so if you are trying to play for example stopped A, you have to play it as A flat. Hope this answered your question!

Thanks a lot! Now I notice her opening arm movement afterwards, and at 6:50 it's even more obvious. Amazing sound change!
Well! If you are going to play "On Ilkley Moor Bah T'At, at least have a few Euphoniums accompanying!!
Do you know the second piece?
