that’s the thing with Topper, he was never the ‘bad’ guy but just made to look the villain due to his (well-deserved) jealousy...because he got cheated on with the type of guy he grew up segregated from. I’m all for Topper’s redemption in future seasons.

He did try and pressure Sarah to have intercourse with him... then would always promote segregation between the kooks and pogues. Not to mention him jumping Pope! But who knows maybe he'll get a redemption 🤔

Sarah didn't rlly cheat on him she wanted to end things with him but her dad said end it with him the next day not today so

Topper was not a right person for Sara but it doesn’t mean he is a bad boyfriend material. He is very affecionate, loyal and caring. When he saw Sara and John B kiss for the first time he kept calm and gave her a chance to tell the truth herself (she lied) And even after she broke his heart and he lost all hopes for geting back together with her he still supported her and went out of his way to help her every time she needed him. He deserves better.

I was struggling in season 2 to remember why I didn't like Topper cause he wasn't so bad season 2. Great video showing that.

Topper loves Sarah. But they are not meant to be. Topper keeps Sarah in the bubble wrap and is not patient or understanding enough. He is there for the extremes, but not the in between. And that’s what makes John B better, he loves her regardless of what is happening

The part when she was like you and all people should know what feels like to have a dad like girl your dad is the reason he doesn’t have a dad in the first place

am i the only one who doesn't hate Topper

The amount of people that downplay Topper’s actions and say “Topper isn’t that bad” scare me. Dude literally calls her names like a sl*t and wh*re wherever he’s upset with her. You think that’s okay to do to someone you claim you love. -I really hope you guys don’t allow people in real life to treat you the way Topper treats Sarah, it’s just not okay- I don’t doubt he loves her, but Sarah shouldn’t have to put up with Toppers controlling behavior she already has enough toxic people in her life (her dad and brother). John B on the other hand never insults her no matter the state of their relationship he always treats her with respect, that should be praised.

topper isn't a bad guy i like when topper and sarah were together but i ship sarah and John B all the way my favorite characters are John b,sarah,topper,jj,kiara,and pope i hate sarah's dad i hat how when raif killed the police and ward told the cops that john B killed the police i hate how ward blames everything on john b but i love how when sarah got shot by raif and john b tried so hard to bring her back to life and i love how john b was always there for sarah those to are such a adorable couple sarah deserves to be with john b not topper i love topper in all but sarah and topper doesn't deserve sarah i hate how when sarah and john b were together and topper tried getting sarah to cheat on john b with topper i also ship jj and kiara they are a cute couple the most people i hate are raif and ward they can go die in a hole i can't wait till season 4 comes out

hey i know its been a while but i just had to reply to this as literally the info is wrong. 1. he accidentally pushed john b, which yes was wrong and very stupid considering how high up they were, however he obviously felt guilty and wasn’t expecting the rails to be that weak. 2. he didn’t continue anything or try anything with sarah when she said no. yes, he got upset which was unreasonable, but he still stopped and walked away. 3. s2 was essentially just him trying to provide support as her dad had literally just “died” and she was mourning. he tried to make her feel better since her boyfriend didn’t care due to his differences with sarah’s dad.

Topper is manipulative and obsessive toward Sarah imo. He stalked her in order to try to force her in love with him, and kissed her right after her dad died and her and John b broke up. I don’t trust or like him at all. John b all the way.

I really really really can’t stand sarah and john b, I love her with topper though. Don’t ask me why. I’m surprised by myself.
