see yeah ..as much as i like carvey (spade less), he showed his dudely bias by not giving that - or the other "i loved some sex" jokes - a little chuckle. and which guy laughed openly at her admission that she wet the bed til 15? because it was out of place and odd. guys just REFUSE to put themselves in women's shoes. i mean, kaitlyn does. stunningly. bravely. but mostly dudes just sort of blank out and stare when women start talking about s e x experiences. they just refuse to see us as *people* who have desires and like to get it on, as people who are *just like them*. they just go crickets. ever heard a man go "haha, nice" talking about women's exploits? NOPE. they think they're being normal and fine. but from our perspective? it's weird af and that behavior sticks out like a sore thumb.

they totally ignored that fact that silverman was being treated like dirt because she was a PRETTY, YOUNG, FUNNY, SMART *WOMAN*. "oh sommme people can write for snl young and slay, like eddie murphyyyy, yeah it's just that no one can do it like himmmmm because he's sPeCiaLLL". they're basically neg-ing her by bringing him up for comparison while ignoring the fact that she was working as a BABY FEMALE IN THE 90s. haha. murphy is a dude and was free to be more than a one dimensional character. they can keep playing, but straight up? silverman is funnier than both these dudes, and they can feel it. it makes them churlish and backhand-y. say, is THAT why spade hopped off the interview? reminded me of how an old pissy, fake, envious "friend" of mine used to hang up in a huff and treat it like the call dropped. hmmmmm. let me be wrong. silverman is FUNNIER and a BETTER WRITER than he is. but because he is a dude, they are going to get all baby-ish and mad that silverman called out farley and that other guy on snl for being nasty to her. their sacred little occult brotherhood. honestly, it's pathetic. we are starting to see these "men" in a *whole new light*. the very light that will render their futures very dark and obsolete.

"drama of the gifted child" was originally titled "drama of the narcissistic child"? passage from book: “Child abuse is still sanctioned - indeed, held in high regard - in our society as long as it is defined as child-rearing. It is a tragic fact that parents beat their children in order to escape the emotions from how they were treated by their own parents.” is this a description of a narcissistic child? how about this: “Depression as Denial of the Self Depression consists of a denial of one’s own emotional reactions. This denial begins in the service of an absolutely essential adaptation during childhood and indicates a very early injury. There are many children who have not been free, right from the beginning, to experience the very simplest of feelings, such as discontent, anger, rage, pain, even hunger....” is this a narcissistic child? the obvious answer is no. now, i'm not saying that "alice miller" is right in every way. there are issues with parts of the book. but the content of it does not indicate that a narcissistic child is being discussed. so what think tank lying sack of s h i t is pushing this "working title" nonsense? seems as though there is still a lot of backlash for those of us who know we have cognitive abilities well above average. it's ok to know you're tall or good at your job or a great listener. but it's somewhere near a capital offense to know your iq is high or that you have a gift. coooooooooollll (yes, i know the word on the street is that the book is not about children with high iq. but it is, though not SOLELY about children with high iqd. ironically, the same people who make this claim go on, in the next breath, about "EQ" being ever so valuable. and ftr, they mean E*I*Q, as in Emotional Intelligence Quotient, as "Emotional Quotient" makes no sense as a phrase.)

Sarah, what made you agree to be a Fly on the Ball. The best stuff on this topic is Robert Shimmel on his colonoscopy. He says his doctor said don't worry we'll numb it like at the Dentist, and Schimmel Said, "where the Hell you going to the dentist?". I don't know how he did it but he had this delivery that was like "don't blame me its just what i heard." Sarah is so nice and talented, i hope my comments didn't cross a line i didn't think so but i goof the line up when i find someone attractive. Y,all have a great show. Hey Kevin Nealon, hummm

I grew up being, "The Harvard guy". I don't think Sarah Silverman should be concerned about, "Brain damage" from weed. I am not a Doctor but it may add to her perceived hyperactivity of mine. I read her book as a kid and told myself it was beneath me when I was secretly in love with it while at the same time ashamed how it reads. I thought she had toilet humor but later realized she is simply brilliant @ her craft and I am the one, who suffers from the "mono" :). I am cool with that -- the Bible says for people to all be on the path of, "The straight and narrow" and if that means I have mono, I have mono -- no bigger, so be it. Everyone has to stick to their strengths and I see sticking on the straight and narrow path of life as something mono. I hope I am making as perfect sense to you as I am to me.
