I'd love to hear you cover Ewan MacColl or Nick Drake. That's not a request though, but I'd check them out. They're from England. Thanks again and keep posting, I love it! Jason

Always love your videos and enjoy watching them as I try to learn clawhammer. You are definitely one of my favorites! If I can ask, when did you start learning? Did your family play music and did you learn some from that? Or, did you just decide to learn one day? How long have you been playing? Guess I'm asking what is your history and story of getting into clawhammer banjo, if you don't mind sharing? Thank you!

Here are the lyrics from the wikipedia entry Angeline the baker lives in our village green, The way I always loved her beats all you ever seen. Chorus Angeline the baker, her age is forty-three, I bought her candy by the peck, and she won't marry me. Chorus Her father is the miller, they call him Uncle Sam. I never will forget her, unless I take a dram. Chorus Angeline is handsome, Angeline is tall, They say she sprained her ankle a-dancing at the ball. Chorus She can't do hard work because she is not stout, She bakes her biscuits every day, and pours the coffee out. Chorus I'll never marry no other girl, no matter where I go. I said I'd marry Angeline just twenty years ago. Chorus The last time I saw her was at the county fair. Her father run me almost home and told me to stay there. Chorus[7] en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Angelina_Baker

Sarah, what strings do you use for your banjo? I'm looking to improve the tone of my current banjo and I love the tone of your banjo (especially in this video). I'm starting to get discouraged because I'm not happy with how my banjo sounds. If there are any other suggestions you have to emulate your sound, I'd love to know. Thank you very much! Excellent playing. I absolutely love your KZread channel, I'm excited for your next video. Thanks for uploading such great content!

Rich Day It makes a bit of a muffled sound which I really like, and it's not quite so loud for when I'm just dinking around at home. I can change the degree of muffle/volume depending on how firmly I wedge the cloth in there.
