In fairness after Crazy Ones was cancelled she wasn’t in anything else to promote, until this year really and by then Craig’s show had ended.

Nothing like that at all. In case of SMG, there hasn't been a whole lot for her to promote - and promoting something is part of the incentive (or sometimes a requirement of a contract). Let's see, there was Buffy donkeys years ago, brief appearance in one of the Scream movies, the Scooby Doo movies, and some other bits and pieces - very little during Craig's run, so she wouldn't be invited much for promotion. There are a few exceptions with Craig inviting friends for no particular reason, but you couldn't do this all the time as you'd also have a schedule and need other peeps. Given Craig and SMG clearly aren't friends and she had one appearance, she wouldn't get invited for the hell of it over, say, Kristin Bell or Mila Kunis or Larry King, people who are genuinely friends with him. Meanwhile, Paris Hilton or some other 'talent' has something going on and gets an invite (unless of course they annoy the show-runners or perhaps Craig himself). Status may be a factor but it's not paramount.

I'm personally shocked that this is 16 years after IKWYDLS, 17 years after the beginning of Buffy, and two children later. She looks freakin' amazing. Of course, ever since BtVS started, I've basically been in love with her. :) Oh, and pretty cool that she and Freddie have been married 16 years now.

I don’t think it’s that, after 2013 she didn’t have anything to promote because she took a break. Her sarcasm is just off the charts. I’m sure Craig would have jumped in that humor a lot more on a second appearance.

I don't think they've been in anything together, but they were actually childhood friends who would play together and they would go to auditions together. SMG was reportedly the network's top choice to play Sabrina the teenage witch, but turned down the role to play Buffy instead.

This is what happens when you put an alpha woman in front of an alpha man. She would not let him ask her anything and she was semi-running the interview .

To me, she's the definition of nuanced actress (in days gone by when the writing was good, anyhow), and an annoying personality. Not much warmth comes through, and....kinda defensive. One of the gifts JLF has given us is a comparison of a lot of personalities, with many of them fairly real, relaxed, and playful because they get CF's humor and can riff with it.

Her face always looked a little funny. That's not a criticism. Just an observation. I liked her show and have watched it all the way through more than once.

Never invited back. She was probably one of the most uptight guests like she has a chip on her shoulder. Her career crashed in flames.
