Not only is this a beautiful rendition, it's also helping me a great deal practicing this wonderful song myself. I've been following a tutorial that suggests a slightly different picking pattern, alternating between 5-2-3-4 and 5-3-2-4, as well as adding some other shenanigans. Your rendition has shown me that its sounds perfectly beautiful with the first pattern throughout (unless I'm mishearing). Thank you so much! Being a beginner, I'll have a long way to go, and matching your stunning voice will be a futile undertaking. But I'll hang in there. ;) Thanks for your inspiration!

The King of Hawaii wanted to develop a hcattle industry here about 200 years ago. So he hired experts from Mexico and Argentina, to start,and teach local natives. When the returned home, many left their guitars as gifts for their students. Hawaiian slack key uses looser tunings and the strings are plucked, rather than strummed. This will help keep such classic music alive. Gordon Lightfoot was Dylans favourite singer/songwriter. No wonder he had quite a few hits internationally
