Sarah is a treasure.She is such a lovely person, and she really brings home the emotion to the character who never seems to get a rest from her troubles, I hope she goes on and on. Best wishes to all concerned, and Miss Lancashire doubly so.

Sarah should receive every award going for Happy Valley. Outstanding Writing on behalf of Sally Wainwright Brilliantly acted by the characters. I’ve just watched the last series Magnificent. Gripping from start to finish. Sorry it’s the last one. ❤❤❤❤❤

I've watched all of Happy Valley now numerous times. I can never get over the way Sarah inhabits Catherine. It's just....remarkable. Never a false moment, never a moment where I do not utterly believe she is Catherine. And it's such a complex character. Well, all of them are, really. And the entire cast is amazing. While I know the scary dark heartbreaking elements of the story are vital, of course, I would always sort of wait for the more intimate family scenes, the kitchen ones with Siobhan and Rhys Connah. I don't think the series can or should go on, but I really miss these people. People, meaning the characters, but they are more than characters, aren't they.

What in particular made you think this way? it did wrap up lose ends. I liked the way she quietly suggested Tommy didnt light himself up.

That’s her normal accent! She puts on the Yorkshire accent to play Catherine

That's just what happens when you work for the BBC for a long time. Look at Jeremy Clarkson, his accent is all over the place.
