What's better is if you have a way with words like you do. Your voice is important, it doesn't deserve to be compared.

a new vid from sarah! my heart just leapt. and yes I also find metaphors in everything. a dimple of a workmate, or a faucet not turned off properly or the flower in the middle of the road. I always find patterns of people's behaviors or conversations or reasons. And yes it is hard, to try to understand something, or someone, and only fail to do so. Sometimes a message in the middle of the night is just a message. Sometimes a song sang together was just a song. Sometimes shared hobbies are just shared hobbies.

I've always loved poetry since I was a little girl. Only 6 years old and writing poems about love, poems about nature, and about family. Now 16, my passion for it had drifted since then, until I found Sarah Key. The way your mind finds the perfect words and the way your voice carries them out is magical. Really makes me want to write again about the deeper meanings that already roam my mind all day. Thank you for being the great poet that you are and for being my new idol. Really hope you read this all though the chances are low. Thank you. (Btw I'm from Puerto Rico! Haha)

Hey... Today, it would have been useful if someone had told me this wasn't a metaphor... I was with a group of people. We all had a marker, each a different color. Mine was dark blue, the girl next to me had a red one, and the boy I liked had a yellow one. I said: "Hey, the three of us make the primary colors". But then, I looked at the girl next to him: his girl best friend. She had a light blue marker.
