I've been listening to vocalist for 60 years. I came across Sarah a few years ago. Her voice is one of the deepest and almost pitch perfect with a sickness to it.

Sarah is a true example of an African Princess. All natual, no wig, no weave, no extensions or false eyelashes and small make up. She is love. She is full of confidence, tenacity, integrity and she's brilliant too. I am so ptoud of the growth and developnent in her singing career as well as her natural style. She is a part of what makes African culture so powerful because she is her natural God born original African beautiful self. She is sn example for many other young African girls to see they do not have to look European to be the best of themselves. They only need to be the best of themselves. Love her. We Salute and applaud this beautuful African Princess and her parents. Thank you for posting this. Peace and love for life.

She is feeling the emotion of every word and every note yet at 15 yrs she cannot have experienced that. Sometimes the competition shows can be death to a career. Most of the time it comes down to a popularity contest and not a real show of talent. If they win, they get mediocre contracts and then have to fall in line and wait for the previous winners to get their records promoted. In some cases if a singer comes up and has more fans willing and demanding to purchase music and concert tickets, that artist takes priority. The business can be really treacherous and it can kill a career in music before it gets started. Sarah did not win the competition for 2017. She wasn’t what you call a fan favorite I believe because of song choices. Sarah and Fleur East have been the most talented acts that the show has had in the last 6 or 7 years and neither of them are where they should be musically and that is popping out number one hits that include covers of songs and new music for their voices. Sarah should be on Broadway headlining a new and fresh remake of ‘Dream Girls’ !!!! Fleur East should be chart topping R&B and Pop genres. It is the nature of the beast. Hopefully these two young ladies can make a decent living out of it. I just know that we as fans are missing out on some great music!!!! I pray for the BEST for both of them and their families. I would at the very least hope to get a Christmas album out of the deal from both of them. ❤️🕊😘

Hopefully she makes the right decisions on who handles her. Fame could ruin her if they are not careful. Hopefully they are intentionally bringing her slowly at first. Some of her recent pics don't imply she is happy. I hope that she continues to follow her heart and does not loose too much innocence along the way. It looks like they are trying to make her the next big Whitney and in my opinion it may not work. She is Whitney and more, but it was her confidence, innocence and charm that was so compelling with awesome talent.

Thanks for your comment but you don't understand what I meant Charlie, this 15 year old has tuned into the greatness in her. She has the SAME SPIRITUAL GIFT as Ella & others I mentioned, an ability Dr King recognized in the great Mahalia. Like Mahalia and Ella, Sarah trusts and allows her gift to effortlessly flow out of her while just enjoying the spiritual ride. With the right spiritual support to value the Spirit of the gift more that the gift itself and not let others (ie. record Co., money) to control how and what she sings & overwork her to loose the spiritual joy, hopefully she wont end up needing drugs to maintain her gift like Billie or Whitney, even Michael J and so many others.
