"𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐝𝐢𝐝 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐞, 𝐞𝐡?"
Help (2021) is one of the best Jodie Comer's and Stephen Graham's projects, where a caretaker Sarah is forced to face COVID-19 which started to spread in a local care home in early 2020.
This has to be the performance of Jodie's career, while Stephen brought Sarah's purpuse in this movie to life. Both deserve their BAFTA's. This is a MUST WATCH. So, if you haven't seen the movie yet, I HIGHLY recommend you all to head to Channel 4's website and watch it! Those of you who aren't from UK, you can watch it with a VPN!

Powerful performance by Jodie and Stephen. What it so brilliantly portrayed in this film is the utter incompetence of the system at the beginning of this pandemic. The beautiful Jodie always makes me cry.

It looks like this guys are wearing dust masks I remember when that was a thing. I hear you can just use a scarf or a buff that's what I do a buff. It's like a bandana but it's one piece in a circle and you can wear it like a hat or pull it down like a dust mask it's great for concerts as well

I used to work in a care home. I lost my grandparents during the lockdown. Jodie Comer was so amazing in this drama. Represented the field so incredibly well. It’s so true, they are residents.

@@Infinitex & I bet he really is a red & she’s actually a blue lol. They had gd chemistry. Stephen Graham’s a brilliant actor, more seasoned than Jody Cromer but she’s already proved her mettle with Villanelle imo.

This was an excellent performance by both of them. Jodie of course amazing as always. She really separated herself from the killing Eve role which a lot of people sometimes are not able to do when they play a role you see them in other projects and it’s hard to separate them. But her acting is so great that I was not thinking about killing Eve at all. Great actress in everything that I have seen so far with her she has given a stellar performance. 👏👏👏👏

Just finished the movie for the first time and dang, that was heavy.. I'm at a loss for words. Esspecially in that specific scene where Sarah has no choice thsn to ask Tony for help.. The acting on both parts there.. And the emotion Jodie eminates after that scene.. That went straight through my heart.. I too work in health care. Not in this specific field of the movie but in the health care and housing/homes none the less..

In this line of work, it reminds me of an image of someone drowning and your trying to save them, but they end up taking you under; emotionally, mentally & eventually physically. Care workers have the biggest hearts, they are angels on this earth, but ultimately they become martyrs in the end, damaged by trauma.

Pfiou I watched it and it's such a good movie ... I was heartbroken in every scene, in every line. So many emotions, distress mixed with tenderness, despair ... It's a movie that denounces, not only the working conditions of caregivers during this pandemic but the conditions of lonely, sick and elderly people. How addicted they are. How much to take care of, pandemic or not. The worst sentences: "no one's coming". Sarah repeats it, like a lithany, as if to realize injustice and helplessness ... Jodie is once again fantastic in her role. Funny, touching, caring, rebellious ... We experience the film thanks to her acting. Well done. And congratulations to you for this tribute.

It was pretty simple when it comes to setting etc. but the acting was phenomenal! I love Jodie Comer. Ok, let's get back to the video. You chose perfect scenes and added this emotional music. I'm glad you didn't add to many effects but I see that you worked hard with putting these scenes together. It worked well. Thank you for sharing! Have a great day!

Just came across this - Take away the acting - Empathy at the finest. When one steps up and loves life and those who care deserve a metal. The system of politicians and bureaucracy is astounding poor. They should not be in power and those who follow them (in the name of god). Should really look at in mirror and ask - how will they be judged by god. Individual moral compass must be strong within (I would follow and defend a good person) regardless of the consequences of reward or favorite.
