Lyrics:
You and your friends
Ain't as cool as you think
Fake laugh at your jokes
Then tell you I need a drink
And I don't know that she listened
When she came through the kitchen
With my back to the sink
I know I probably shouldn't
But it feels so good I wanna die
With her hands in my hair
Oh I love the way she touches
I'm a mess I don' t care
And I kinda fucking love it, boy
You should've know that I have a better time with her
Ooo
Thank God you introduced me to your sister
Na na na na na na na na
She undressed me with her eyes
And somehow you didn't see
Put her hand on my thigh
Felt like 100 degrees
Said I needed the bathroom
Now we're up in her bedroom
With her lips on my neck
I know I probably shouldn't
And it feels so good I wanna die
With her hands in my hair
Oh I love the way she touches
I'm a mess I don' t care
And I kinda fucking love it, boy
You should've know that I have a better time with her
Ooo
Thank God you introduced me to your sister
Na na na na na na na na
With her hands in my hair
Oh I love the way she touches
I'm a mess I don' t care
And I kinda fucking love it, boy
You should've know that I have a better time with her
Ooo
With her hands in my hair
Oh I love the way she touches

And I kinda fucking love it, boy

This song cracked me up, because having a crush on my high school boyfriend's older sister more than I had a crush on him is exactly how I discovered that I was a gay. My reason for dumping him was how disrespectful he was to his mother and the female staff at school, but really, I was coming to terms with being gay and was wicked confused. That was 8 years ago. I would have loved to have this song in high school :D

AHHHH eu juro q adoro o teu canal, e tu estás praticamente em todos os artistas queer q ouço! addison grace, agr sarah barrios!? AHHH mais uma razao para te adorar, tens um gosto musical top!
I feel like this is made for the queers who were in middle and high school in the 00s, cuz we didn’t get to have openly queer music, and if it did exist it wasn’t made for teens. now there’s so many openly queer artists in almost every genre and it makes me SO happy for young queers today, but also broken-hearted for little me who was outed at 15 and had really nothing to turn to that specifically spoke to me. I mean any queerness that was represented in the mainstream when I was outed was white cis gay men, and of course I celebrated it as progress, but I didn’t have anything that represented MY identity and was craving it so much. When hayley kiyoko’s song girls like girls came out in 2012(?) near the end of high school for me, it was the only thing close to what I was experiencing and I played it over and over again because it was all I had. Sure there had been some stuff that was subtly queer but that was the first queer femme song that was like HELL YEAH I LOVE WOMEN and it brought me to tears.

Until recently I was a teacher, and I was constantly so fucking psyched about how comfortable all my queer and nonbinary students felt about just openly being themselves, and also made me heartbroken for all my friends and everyone in highschool in the 2000s who didn't feel safe to be out. I went to a highschool with 3000 students and didn't know a single openly queer or non-binary person, including my best friend's sister as we all later were thrilled to find out when she came out as trans. And this was in California, albeit in a small mountain town where I regularly saw the Confederate flag being flown off the back of trucks by losers (who are hopefully and statistically more likely to be dead of COVID, so there's a ray of sunshine). It's crazy how recent and yet how far in the past that feels at the same time.
That title alone is a massive power move
