Making this video was honestly the most fun I've ever had. I wrote this song during a time where I felt so tired of being a victim to my own thoughts and yet also tired of feeling the need to be in control of them that I felt like I was at war with myself. I didn't know which part of me to listen to. Who is the hero and who is the villain in this story? One may never know...
A MASSIVE thank you to Rob May, the man, the myth, the legend, who fully took on the responsibility of an entire fucking movie crew to make this video happen. From directing, to filming, to editing, he truly is an insanely talented human and I am so lucky that he has graced my art with his creative madness. Thank you to Trevor Clark, who seamlessly brought our magical fantasy world into this video and brought it into another reality entirely. Your mind is something else.
To Kevin Calame, who despite how busy he is, will still take the time to build a coffin in the living room with me and cover me in vasaline for the sake of my wild ideas.

That's so powerful and cool and badass and totally speaks to me and also makes me nostalgic, but not in a "this reminds me of something"-way but in a "I know I will connect this song with what I'm feeling now and one day this song will take me back to this time once it's gone". @@Trishbarrios it’s wonderful knowing that there are still parents who will support what their child wants to do, even if it’s a hard road. I recently found a song she made and collaborated with on with Eric Nam, and it reminds me of the day I met my fiancé, it’s called “have we met before” and it be rings a feeling to me that I know I can’t ever forget. And reading her description to this song, made me quite emotional too, cause that’s how I feel every day, it made me feel not so alone. And to have the song in one of my favorite genres of music somehow, it was AWESOME! She is an amazing musician and artist, and I look forward to everything she creates in her future! 😁
