This serial was beyond its time therefore people didn't understand it's sense of humour and sarcasm whereas tarak mehta was easy to understand and loud , according to me sarabhai was the best Indian sitcom 😍😍😍

Tarah Mehta is garbage, and that's a fact. Their jokes are never funny, to begin with, and there's literally not even a second where one does not hear any background sound effect. Compare this to Sarabhai, where background sound effects were rare, and you can tell the whole team worked on it for a genuine laughter to the audiences.

THIS WAS THE BESTEST SITCOM IN THE HISTORY OF INDIAN TELEVISION.....

Samaya Prasad The writer himself has declared that the show is way ahead of its time, and drama free. It's a funny sitcom, one of the few in India. The problem is that people in India love drama. They take offence too easily, and some jokes in the serial would be politically incorrect, even though they are funny. So, Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai wouldn't bode well. If only Indians learnt how to take a joke, and laugh, and stopped living in a state of constant hunger for mental abuse, this serial would be very successful, again.

This brought so many memories! I missed watching this show while eating dinner on Star One when I was like 4 or 5. Koi yaar iss show ka reunion season banwado!!

I guess india wasn't ready for late night format back then. We are plagued by our own short sightedness than we sacrifice good shows for shit like naagin.

The Orignal KZread talk show and I am so much pain that no love was given to it. Miss the show and Sumeet one of the best KZread Indian show which made me eagerly wait for the show and the band they got was awsoem
