But at least Howie changed his vote. Don't just thank Simon for persuading Howie and Mel B to change their votes.. Also thank Howie. If he did not listen to Simon and still stuck with his no, Sara would've gone home much earlier. Btw Howie is my favorite judge. Although, I do agree that Mel B deserves a 100% boo. 😒 I am not a big dog fan (I don't really like them), but still, it is really difficult to train a dog to reach that stage. Kudos to Sara. She's a trooper.

I think the dog died.

These judges do NOT appreciate the work that Sarah and Hero put into this as much as they really should. Yes, I know that they did like it, and they did say nice things, but training a dog, is INCREDIBLY hard, expecially to put all those challenging tricks into a quick amount of time, having to be quick, and having to memorizing this! I have been inspired by Sarah and Hero to train my dog tricks, and it’s very challenging! To be able to what Sarah did in these performances would take me at least a year, and she did this in FIVE DAYS! She travels in a CAR! It just blows my mind, and I honestly just don’t kn w what to say! Darci is good, but if these judges, and America knew what it was like to train dogs, Sarah should’ve been in first place! She is absolutely AMZAZING and she is my inspiration!

Simon was seemingly the only one who understood, he was rooting for them for miles. It's a shame that people would pick a puppet act (what would that lil girl do with that 1 mil?) over someone who's rescuing dogs. I'm also dissapointed that puppet girl beat Light Balance!

I have my own 5 year old dog that I've raised from a pup and probably could have taught her more "tricks" but I was working on her behaviors because she is a "working" animal. It's not easy. I always watch all of the dog acts intently, it takes a tremendous about of love and trust for the dogs to be willing to do what they do for their lead "dog". Those who have dogs in their family's understand what I'm saying. Molly, her puppy pic is my icon is adorable and does many cute things and I'm certain had I had the dedication she could be every bit as talented as these dogs. That's my point, really, Sara, is an excellent dog trainer and I hope she gets many gigs from this exposure.

Clearly this girl Sarah knows how to train dogs and her skill is incredible. How she is able to train them to do an act in the short time between shows is mind boggling. If anything she will be a very sought after trainer and I think she can make millions doing that alone.

Honestly having the audience and Simon rooting for you THAT MUCH is incredible, I'd be almost happy that the judges said no at first to get that experience

I think the reason why Howie didn't see any good trick is because all those great an spectacual tricks looked all natural. If you watch a movie you don't say "I haven't seen good CGI" because you can't see good CGI, just the really poor ones. Good CGI looks like good dog tricks: All natural.

I cried when they lost, like all of you pointed out, it's extremely difficult to train an animal, may point out I can't make my dogs sit let alone teach them how to fly across a room. My applause to her 👏🏻

I hated to see them go, but the good part is, she and her dogs made an impact on people, and she can probably get sponsorship now to start either a training academy, or be a trainer for hire from being known, or maybe even get animal planet interested in a series. People love her and her dogs, she still has a great future :)

I’m sad she didn’t win. She has amazing talent, and is someone who is deserving of the million dollars, and someone who is in need of it. We love you, Hero!

@@ev7841 yes, each judge can hit the golden buzzer only once per season, so as the host, so in AGT there just 5 golden buzzers per year, in normal case, at season 12 though they had some more golden buzzers, Angelica, Celine for example in Judge Cuts round, by guest judges.

From barely making it to judge cuts to making it 5th in the whole show!? Now that’s what I call talent

I am so proud of Sarah and hero. Thank you Simon! Sarah is a very hard working female that takes in strays and trains them. She lived in her vehicle and she had faith. God bless her and her doggies

My favorite part in this whole video is the second performance. Hero jumps down from on top of Sara's feet at the end and the music stops and Hero simultaneously leaps into her arms as the crowd goes wild! Still gives me goosebumps. Love these two!

all those other acts take a few months to master. Training a dog that much takes years. Because it’s a dog its a lot harder to train than another human being who can just quit if its too much. Howie and the other girl dont get it lmao.

I don’t think some of the judges realise how long it takes to train your dog to do these things. Sometimes I feel sick of all these singers and magicians winning the show, this is true effort and talent. This is why she was crying when she thought she wasn’t making it, all that work was for nothing.

I'm just so amazed by how creative their storylines were. It's like they explored every genre possible. Kudos to you and your dogs Sara!! 💯💯

They should have got 1st place on my opinion. Sara and Hero are true legends! Sara is soo strong and amazing and inspiring, her bond with Hero is so special. She sure knows how to do training fun for her dogs. I loveee to train my dogs with positive reinforcement, it really is soo much fun. 2017 was such a great year for America’s Got Talent. There were like six different acts I wanted to win. I’m so happy Sara and Hero made it to the finals.

Thanks to Simon he gave them a second chance. They are amazing every time. Love for Sara and her dogs!

She has been touring the country. She was at the pet expose in Novi, Michigan in the spring with Hero doing agility stuff. Did a few shows a day. Glad to see she is getting booked. I would love to see her & Hero in a movie. I would pay to see them over the self righteous actors & actresses right now who try to tell everyone how they should live. What a joy. Make Hero the next Lassie.

I don’t think Mel knows how hard it is to train a dog. It’s more than very hard. That was awesome but Mel surely doesn’t know how much time and effort they put into this.

I like both the Pompeyo Family Dogs and Sara and Hero. However, I prefer Sara and Hero better because the theme of every performance differs a plethora. They are unique. I feel like the Pompeyo Family has tricks that are a bit better, but their tricks are really similar every performance.

Singer and dancers always win! I voted for Sam and hero to I was very disappointed they were my favorite act
