I adore this version. Sung with years of exploring ideas, and the wisdom of that experience. Less fear of failure because failure didn't define the successes. With the playful tone of "join me in this risk, it's worth it, even if we both go down". The original has a light tone too but it feels kind of deceptive to the lyrics. Like it's meant to be inspirational when the feeling is more "I don't know what the fuck I'm doing. If I knew what the playbook was I'd be using it! But you are going to have to stumble through just as I did." sort desperately clinging to the commitment of doing it your own way and hoping it pays off, because it's more valuable to you than failing by the book. And even though I identify with that side of the experience more, this one is beautiful and delightful to hear from the other side of it.
