Actually they were both signing in the video. They took the video, muted it and then sang on a good mic individually. If you watch closely, you can notice that the singing is not quite in sync with the video.

The video was overdubbed with higher quality sound. You can see Ada doing the same thing at 2:13.

Beginning to end this was perfect and pure. Just incredibly well executed. I not only can appreciate the totality of this, I can enjoy each voice and instrument independently. Fantastic work.

I saw ADA perform at Rockwood in NYC. I will have a place reserved inside me to preserve that beautiful memory.

Guitar blends so much better with your violin and voice than piano does. Georges voice blends great as well. As Simon Cowell would say, "this is a record"... I'd buy it.

Dr. MacEoin, at your urging, I listened to the original, and I feel that Ada and George did justice to it. "Ruined" strikes me as a harsh and unfounded criticism. You're certainly entitled to prefer one artistic interpretation over another, but Ada and George are excellent musicians, and they deserve credit for their fine work. If they had performed a death metal rendition of this song, I might agree with you, but their performance was close in spirit to the original. What's the problem?
