Came here from 9gag. Beautiful, strange and sad film. Not something I will forget soon! Especially the flower bleeding was very impactful.

There was an undercurrent of both hope and despair in this short-film, the hope that comes from knowing how adaptable and clever mankind can be and the despair of realizing that the prolongation of life simply leads us deeper and deeper into Hell.

For someone who has only dealt with this work for the last few months, it is very nice when people take the time to help me further with a reflective answer. So glad you felt hooked by it! This, I don't believe will be our future. Climate change will happen and humans may disappear, but nature will survive. Maybe take different forms, but will survive. Unless we destroy natures ability to survive. Plucking that one flower wouldn't stop nature. We're plucking a lot more than one flower. We may be beyond the tipping point. It may now be adapt or perish. We will adapt. But what will life be? Very well done short film.

Very fitting film for the times we live in. Excellent job showing the harshest juxtaposition of then and now! Beautiful, impactful, and morose! When they picked the flower, I knew the dream would be over.. it all starts with the first killing of nature, and the sapien just naturally reached down and plucked it. Bravo!

It makes sense that the billionaires would want people to discuss anything but them. I suppose the same goes for talking about the environment as the main issue that human kind is struggling with, when we are nowhere near destroying the world due to our actions, but they do not want human kind to focus on evil as human kinds biggest problem. It increases, it decreases, it brings down nations and civilizations, but if you were to focus on that, then you would realize how under informed you are. Many would rather you focus on the nonsensical, while trying to defeat the effects of evil on human kind. In G-d I trust.

Absolutely stunning, the story as well as images and sound. No dialogue needed. Bravo! 👍 (says I, a Danish sci-fi writer)

Absolut gelungen. Die kurzen Clips der Schlachthöfe passen super in die Thematik und haben definitiv Schockfaktor. Ab 4:40 wunderschöne Szenerien und sehr passende Musikwahl, hatte Gänsehaut. Das Finale mit der blutenden Blume ist eine absolut geniale Idee.

Fabelhaft👌, auch wenn das Thema deprimierend ist

Well done... In the 50's and 60's and beyond I was the kid who loved reading scifi, many stories written about someone special, or a group of talented people figuring out a way to save mankind from annihilation due to war, natural disasters or aliens, etc, etc. Always someone waiting in the wings to save humans from their inherent terrible selfish selves. Even when aliens were threatening the planet, or nukes were about to fly, the "good guys" had to convince the leaders of the threat, and then of the solution...or take matters into their own hands. And don't forget, I lived every day with a threat of nuclear missiles on the evening "NEWS!!!"... It's no wonder that I was attracted to wanting to read stories where someone comes along and saves mankind. Now, it's not hard to see that planet earth is going crazy and nobody is coming to save the day. Now, many of these scifi shorts are like this one. No saviors, no hero's, and no way out. It's like people are being told that they might as well give up because you are doomed to certain destruction for one or more reason. In this film, you are shown how you will also go from an unbelievable paradise to the worst hell you can imagine if you so much as pick a flower... One little slip up, and paradise is gone with no way back. So sad...and such a lie. Yes, the world as we know it will be coming to an end soon, after a lot of hardships like the world has never before seen, but there IS a way to escape what is coming. All you need to do is ask Jesus to save you from it. He was the real Savior that has already came and promised that anyone who believes in Him WILL be saved. Those that do will be going to a paradise more beautiful than anything that can be imagined or put in a film, and no matter what happens, you can't lose that, and it's for eternity...

Well crafted dystopian nightmare scenario that is well worth seeing. While my wife & I were watching it, I immediately understood the ice cracking and its implications for what was to come. My wife thought that Elysium was a stupid neo eco liberal utopian escapist fantasy and wanted to walk away. I said "just wait a minute. It's not what you think." I hope more people will watch this video and discuss it. Let's not wait to worship trees and plants until the Amazon is destroyed and the Earth turns implaccably hostile to human life. The Ecosphere is sacred, as the aboriginal peoples knew quite well. It is the only living zone for light years in any direction, and if we damage or destroy it, we will have Hell to pay...

@@lukaskloesel Unfortunately we are on track for 2.5C of global warming, and the only thing so far that momentarily slowed greenhouse gas omissions was the Covid pandemic. So, hopefully it won't get as bad as your dystopia, but it is going to get very challenging. Rich people already know this and they are quietly buying up farmland & water rights. The masses seem almost clueless and will likely get blindsided by what is sure to come. Since science cannot reach them, maybe you creative artists can shake them awake and get them to change. Anyway, nice work on your video. Sure gets the point across in a visceral way...

I felt so sorry for those poor plants trapped in those containers on the sapiens backs, no thought for their feelings, in the service of the sapiens till death, no chance of a safe and free life. In this modern and enlightened day where your sex is determined by your feelings I identify as a tree, a coconut tree (a little nuts😉)
