Job aspirants let me clarify few points. SAP functional modules i.e. SD,MM, FI CO,QM, HR etc. are not for freshers. You should have some functional knowledge in those areas, suppose u want to be a FI CO consultant you should have experience in accounting or finance, for SD have some sales or marketing experience. Other than functional, SAP has technical area like ABAP ( coding ) and BASIS (system/security admin activities) . Mere certification wont provide a job , mostly campus selected candidates gain exposure in companies who support SAP projects(shadow resourcing and training) and later to SAP jobs. And some SAP end user afters training may get jobs. Google it or try KZread search you will get the reality.

SAP will sustain for long term and you can continue as a ABAP programmer.. You will get high package with in few years.. fresher will get 3 to 4 LPA and if you have 4 years of experience you can get up to 10 LPA in good companies
