1. GL Account Determination in SAP Business One enables the admin to customize financial accounts' mapping with business transactions such that the financials module gets updated upon creating a document in the system.
2. Depreciation types are used to define the different calculation methods for fixed assets. It depends on your organization whether you need the straight-line method, the declining balance method, immediate write-off, and other calculation methods.
