@@kazielbonn for live version it's pretty good, but I agree with you and there is many better live music sound than this but with their performance here is better than the studio version imo, the mix between their stage sound and instruments/vocal is enjoyable

Hands down agree with you. Cove was perfect for saosin because he has a more powerful but less finesse driven voice. Which matches saosins harder sound. Anthony was perfect for circa

My first exposure to saosin was with ag as the singer, but I was never like a super avid fan. And as I went on and would randomly hear new saosin songs over the years, I could hear the sort of gruff almost aggression in the vocals and I liked it but I never put much thought into it. I eventually learned about cove and honestly it seems like a better fit for the music

@@tuc02031 I like both as vocalists for Saosin, but when Saosin started they were the harder rock version of the male Cocteau Twins and needed AG's high tenor voice to set them apart from all other post-hardcore bands at the time. When AG left, they found a very good mid-tenor, in Cove, to replace him and wrote songs that fit his voice more. Both eras of Saosin are great, but the Translating the Name EP had the biggest impact to music out of all of their material. That EP changed the game for post-hardcore.

They're rerecording the self titled album, out later this year, and a new album with Cove on vocals is scheduled for next year. Anthony hasn't left but it seems like he's too busy with his other projects to commit to Saosin so Cove is confirmed to be on future material until that changes. I hope we get at least a song with both. That'd be sick.

I didn't realize that the 00's had a "sound" until later. Saosin is such a part of that.

Cove always had such a unique voice for the genre... sounds like something that wouldn't be out of place in a late 70s/80s rock band.

Before he was dismissed, Cove's performances deteriorated thanks to heavy smoking. Looks like he's given up now because this sounded absolutely fire!

Man they sound excellent, and Cove is killing vocals again. Love seeing him back and hearing him nail it. Can’t wait to see what they do together in this new chapter.

I won't lie, the last Saosin album with Anthony was fantastic in my opinion. Why they never continued with another album I'll never know but seeing Cove do Dead America and seeing him in Saosin again made my day! Whether its Anthony or Cove, I'm happy to see Saosin back doing their thing!

Such a great show! Can't wait to see them again at the end of this month!!

Let’s take a moment and be incredibly thankful how special it is to see this band with two different front men. I’ve always been the AG favorite but dam I can’t sit here and say I don’t love this band with cove as well. I just take it as a gift that we get to see this band in two different forms. I absolutely love it, it’s special as hell because nobody else can have two front men who are active with the band at different times and both have their own style but you’d never say the band sounds completely different or off without one or the other. I love AG, I love Cove and I love this band so much.
