That ending is every SAO player's worst nightmare, to be stuck in the game even when they beat it. It would have been so sad if that happened in canon.

Okay, that ending was crushing. I was expecting them to beat SAO and then the story would lead them to another game world to keep SAOIF going, but just... wow 8|. Everyone is gonna be feeling really broken after this curveball

Hey guys I got something for u. All of u knows that when a new floor adds in the game a new character quest also comes along with it. So a character quest also came with 100 floor but it is the hardest quest of whole Aincrad and most of the player couldn't complete it. .I just completed it and it was just shocking. I know I'm giving spoilers but i just can't hold back....... In the end cutscene of the quest they finally revealed kikyouka, Higa and yuna's father who was working on something based SAO in RATH. They re also trying to connect with MC to know about the current situation in Aincrad. So I think now RATH is introduced in the story and Ocean turtle will also come in the story. So basically the story is going to the Aliciazation Arc though it haven't the characters like Eugeo and Alice(till now). At the end I think the story is got more and more interesting also I think it's the beginning the MC's own story........

No u re wrong. Notte and Rano didn't lock heathcliff in prison. It was cardinal system who did that. Those two didn't get that power and became admin that time. In past story line after the battle of kirito and heathcliff they and asuna died. But Cardinal system didn't liked the ending so it brought them back and not only that it also erase the whole fight sequence of them and make the situation alike nothing happen. It also disagreed with heathcliff's decision and locked him in the prison. Now talking about Notte and Rano, I will have to go to the end cutscene of floor 81 . In the cutscene the Arcana/Cardinal system Revalued our MC's ID and gave him the codename ' Integral Factor'. In this cutscene they also revealed two 'Magna Arcana' and that were these two . After Leuer, Stilla, Typhson and Mater who deleted their GM privilege to become like normal players after talking with MC and Koharu in 85 th floor Arcana system gave admin privilege to these two.And inspite of being stuck in a prison Heathcliff knows everything what's going on in the game because Arcana system still sends him every details and videos and now he also knows the MC is the real hero of the story and he got it wrong back then and thought Arcana system chose kirito as the hero because he got 'Dual wielding' and the man who receive that skill should be stand in front of the devil king(Heathcliff) in final battle. But now it is clear Cardinal system is planning something bigger and interesting.......

I appreciate the lines that have been voiced over hyped for the new chapter

I'm not imagining it, Koharu's lines starting from 42:48 are basically a namedrop of every SAO OP and ED. "Crossing Field," "Innocence," "Ignite," "No More Time Machine," "Resist(er)," "Resolution," "Anima," and "I Will..."; even "go our separate ways" evokes "Courage," aka Yuuki's theme. And they even found room for "Catch(ing) the Moment"!

I Wonder if they going to put all of place of the re hollow one on to this one that would be great to continue the game and we get characters off of re hollow as well

In the game, Heathcliff has been locked in Black Iron Prison by the Arcana System for while now. In the main canon, an Incarnation of the Radius is the original boss of the game, but Kayaba replaced it with himself instead.

I’m honestly upset at the fact that that’s the ending they gave us after we worked so hard to get to floor 100 for better equipment we grinded and grinded for hours and this is what they do to us it’s made me mad at the devs for doing this cause they now just lost all my respect

Omg this end i got some shin mazinger z vibes of an ending meaning the worst timeline possible.

How is this an ending? This is a cliffhanger, and it's a cliffhanger so big it makes Aincrad look tiny.

No no they wouldn't Especially in the anime canon half the cast who in here are basically dead or aren't supposed to be there

I don't like being the type that complaints but personally i found this floor anticlimactic. First of all is the same recipe that has been used for every single floor: everything goes well then something goes south and then a ridiculous solution pops up out of nowhere for either us or kirito to be the big heroes. Its not bad but when used too much especially in the grand finale it feels bad. Then there's the battle: WHO THE F AMONG THE SCRIPT WRITER S THOUGHT THIS WAS A GOOD IDEA!! At floor 99 we focused on just making sure where we left all the sc at their character development and what do they decided to do in the very last battle of the game?! Have dialogs bigger than the actual battle! (I have to give them though that the moment we died and we came back thinking of koharu was BRILLIANT)Also why the hell did we got golden eyes?! I mean i get that we were supposed to have a power up or something BUT WHY DID THEY HAVE TO COPY KIRITOS?!?! Think about it in the game we have the ability rush that allows us to have special buffs at the cost of our HP that hasn't appeared neither in the other games nor the anime IT WAS THE PERFECT OPPORTUNITY!!! As for the ending i was definitely not expecting this. It was a surprise that i am not sure if it will be a welcome one. I had a few better ideas for an ending to the story but nevermind them now because now all we can do is sit and wait for the continuation of this floating cattsles story

Saoif's story was one of the main things I disliked about it, story became more and more anticlimactic with every new floor, but ngl this ending was really unexpected and the new characters had full voice overs alongwith Koharu, It's been quite awhile since I've become interested in the story again, I wonder what happens next

In main story you can beat all bosses using normal weapons and low level like around 110 cause in main story the Dev's deliberately made the bosses weak, but to do board quests and leveling up you need to level up more than, in normal mode they are difficult according to their levels

In short if you want to be a noob forever just use ordinary floor weapons or and armour. if you want high difficulty challenge get good, use the highest equipment, farm chaos bosses get those rare item drops. lvl up to lv190, lvl all your weapon profeciency to max lv 90, unlock all your weapon master skills under weapon profeciecy. Farm INGOTS, farm Ores rare drop from ragout rabbits. FLEX YOUR stats.

Notte and Rano… those two had better die. Preferably in great pain. I want to see them scream and apologize for having the *AUDACITY* to trample on everyone’s hopes and dreams! The mere thought of them getting away with this is enough to make me mad at the writers and if they *do* get away with this? I’ll become the biggest SAO hater to exist. Instead of defending the franchise I’ll spread lies. I’ll review bomb every single game and never play one again. Because the sheer amount of *UNDESERVED* redemption arcs I’ve seen is DRIVING ME INSANE! I’ve already lost sleep over people Abby Anderson and Maisha Laforge so this game BETTER START KILLING PEOPLE OFF! OR ELSE!
