@@hardipsandhu5355 Pray that the hurt you feel is healed. Some points made by you are valid especially anti Sikh riots. No true Hindu supported or celebrated the massacre of Sikhs. In fact many Hindus were hurt and ashamed when no rioter was apprehended or punished .I was also aware of how some Hindu families protected Sikh families and individuals.

I've got a question japjeet. If you could spare some time and answer my questions, I'd be grateful. From what we see from the news sitting here in Bharat, Canada and UK seem to be the go to place for Khalistanis. But i personally know a lot of Sikhs who are in Canada and who don't adhere to the khalistani ideology. Now my questions are :- 1) How big is the ideology among Sikhs in Canada. Is it limited to only a few areas ? Who are the biggest supporters, first generation Sikhs moving from Punjab or people who had moved there in the last century and are totally detached from India ? And are they grooming young kids into this ideology too ? 2) How is the Sikhs community's relationship with the Hindus in Canada ? I ask because there have been numerous instances of violence e against temples ?

@@dahaka_scares_me909 1. The K'stani ideology is quite big here, don't know if it's the majority of Sikhs but a definitely a significant portion. Some of the biggest Gurdwaras support it openly. Other Gurdwaras don't. The Gurdwaras don't have a single committee managing all of them, like they do in India. They are privately owned so they can each do pretty much whatever they want and differ quite a bit. Also the private committees (management) that run these Gurdwaras can be divided among caste line. The Sikh and Indian population is limited to a few places so the ideology is where the desi population is. It's not limited to a few places I would say. One thing to note is that many people use to say they are Bhindrawala supporters but don't support K'stan. This k'stan movement started being mass marketed in around 2012-14, it was't as big before. Before it was just support for Bhindranwale even that was looked at with suspicion and mostly among people from Majha region of Punjab. I think this ideology mosty limited to some Jatt Sikhs, Khatris from Delhi don't support it even though they suffered the most. The biggest supporters are usually the second and third generation Sikhs (also some old uneducated first generation immigrants). It's not really their fault because they don't know anything and have been taught a different set of facts from their Gurdwaras. Many of the Gurdwaras have also started some private schools in Canada. And those schools are religious (most private schools in Canada tent to be religious). If they are connected with the Gurudwara they are most likely teaching them about K'stan and Bhindranwale. 2. The relationship between Sikhs and Hindus is fine. Most relationships in Canada are mostly professional anyway. People aren't as social as they are in India. The thing is, unlike Hindus, Sikhs here see themselves as Sikhs, Jatts, and Punjabis first. They don't see themselves as Indians. Which IMO is narrow thinking. They cut themselves off from the rest of Indian culture. They don't speak Hindi. They don't know anything about Hinduism either. In India Sikhs know a lot about Hinduism and many even go to mandir and Muslim majar. But here the syncretism is going away. Syncretism means practices different religions at once. I don't think Hindus and Sikhs go to each other's religious temples as much as they do in India. Syncretism use to be a big part of Punjabi culture. I hope now you have a better understanding of things.

I totally understand your point of view actually this high on emotions problem is a Punjab problem to be frank. I am a Sikh but my family shifted to Punjab after my graduation so upbringing has been in North India Hindi belt. Even I see the stark difference between the behaviour of Sikhs in Punjab and outside Punjab.

Guru Tegh Bahadur sacrificed his Head to protect us ! The children were fixed on the wall by the Mughal rulers! The British instilled the idea of Khalistan while leaving ! Jha sahib, he was born in Patna but was not from there.His father, the 9th Sikh Guru, Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib(a. K. A Hind Di Chaadar) was visiting Kamrup(Assam) and Bengal at the time, so Patna Sahib was a sort of base for them. After his birth, Guru Gobind Singh ji spent about 4 years there. However, it is touching that you claim him as one of your own. Well, the fact is he belongs to us all.🙏

​@@jaihind7886ji, main samjha nahin aapki baat. Of course, he was Indian, and of course he was born in Patna Sahib, Bihar, but he was not from there. His family was there temporarily, during which he was born. The suffix Singh, for Sikhs, came into being at Anandpur Sahib, Punjab, in 1699 when the great Guru sahib founded the Khalsa. It did not come from Bihar. Baaki, aap ki baat sahi hai. Woh hum sab ke hain and aur achhi baat hai ki Bihar waale unhe apna samajhte hain. Mera point sirf yeh tha ki woh Bihar se nahin the, unka janam wahaan hua tha bhai. He also lived there for about 4 years before the family moved back. 🙏

Singh Surname came from Aanadpur Sahib and not from Bihar ... 9th Guru had gone to Bihar and there tenth Guru was born and named as Gobind Rai .. Singh surname was adopted much later by tenth Guru is his lifetime at Aanadpur Sahib , Panjab

I am in USA NewYork for 30 years. Most of Those Sikhs who protest for Khalistan, do it so that they can get asylum / green card from USA here. 30% of Sikhs married Hindus. I ate Punjabi food in Sikhs restaurants for 30 years and liked first time I visited gurudwara in NewYork at age 30 and lived with sardar and interact with Sikhs on daily basis. I am originally from Goa . Born and brought up in Mumbai. Jai hind. Love india natural diversity specially diversity of languages. We have set a good example to world and some countries some people are jealous on us that we are still one country.

Everyone knows sikhs are the architect of modern India.... Basically on practical day to day origin and interaction with sikhs ,occasional buddhist,....it's sometimes sounds gray for me between hindu, sikh, buddhist... Etc the indic origin philosophy/ religion ... But to the fact of blue Star stuff.... Having listened to many interviews of both the countering views... Reading 6-7 authentic books of that time.. Including tulleys, ks brars, harminder kaurs.... The northern commands generals statement regarding his disaggrement regarding the process of flushing vindranwale out.... I feel that blue Star was an excessive brute unintelligent use of force... A professional army like Indian Army could have figured out a better smooth process to get him....decade long bad feeling of both sikh and hindu ....the hindus feel bad that they are blamed as a whole for a botched up operation that was by 2-3 politician and probably 1-2 very able military heads but with overconfidence/ mediocre strategy....this could have been avoided.... It is difficult to express by word.... For a hindu as a whole more of those from North Western India. Harmandar saheb is say as much a shrine for us same as say a ujjain mahakal temple... It's a fact..

@KushalG08 Get the name right: Sant Jarnail Singh ji khalsa Bhindranwalle. Indian state is responsible for that pre planned military action, not select individuals or congress only. Using tanks and UN banned athru gas that is illegal even in wars at Darbar Sahib negates the respect the hindu has for that place and Sikhi. The day and the manner of that attack is unforgivable, and no justice to date shows the real mindset of hindu India. Sikhs hearts will never be the same regarding India the Union. Hindu azad Muslim azad why not the Sikhs? You are insincere!!

It was bad political situational handling... That's what I said... Sant and all are matters of faith... I haven't delved into that all... Please don't mix apples and oranges....and yes there is an Indian state...but policies of state changes with the party in power...especially for internal issues....thats why it's important to distinguish between the govt of that day and people as a whole..Harminder saheb is as holy to hindus of particularly northwestern india as for example ujjain mahakal... The place has equal importance... Not any particular invidual... And regarding to who is azad.. That is a ranting🤣🤣.. India has 140 crore population.. 27 crore Muslim... And 2 nation theory went for a toss in 1971🤣🤣....there are certain stuffs which naturally makes a nation state successful... Those are natural non man made stuff.. Like racial similarness, language, geographical terrain, common heritage etc etc.... And many others... Any man made doctrine is always inferior in uniting people compared to this natural forces.... The basket case in our neighborhood is a prime example 🤣🤣.... 10-15 people read some books sitting in Aligarh, made up theoretical stuffs in their mind... And now see that result.... we are not a minority.. we were made into a minority in order to legitimise a minority status for Muslims . We have never considered ourself a minority.. it is a title that has been thrust upon us to divide us from the rest of India ..

I don’t know why it’s taking so long to get ❤❤❤justice for our Sikh brothers and Sisters. I fully support them to get justice.

मै हरियाणा पुलिस मे सेवारत रहा हु मैने 1983 से 1995 तक पुरा खालिस्तान मूवमेंट देखा था मेरी ड्यूटी चंडीगढ़ में भी रही हैं और भजन लाल की मोटर केड माए भी ड्यूटी दी थी ।हम सुमेद सिंह सेनी के साथ भी ड्यूटी दी थी।एक बात में दावे के साथ कह सकता हूं कि हरियाणा पुलिस कभी भी खालिस्तानियो से नही डरी ।ये सरदार जी भी ठीक कह रहे हैं ।

Can you have more interviews with Shree Kuljinder Dhillon please. His experience & insights were so true to the issues during those dark years of Punjab. It’s a lesson for all Indians to learn and understand the circumstances that made the most patriotic community rise against their own nation & people. I’ve lived in Punjab and read many books on militancy like Mark Tully & Satish Jacob’s book, GBS Sidhu’s book, Lt Gen Brar’s book and many more but his personal narration is so real & raw especially as an ex militant who now tells the truth; no matter even though he admits his wrong. The government should forgive and give clemency to all those youth who wrongly chose that path coz it was also the political parties who were to blame for this and not just misguided youth then; after all it was the very Jat Sikhs who destroyed the Khalistan movement as true patriots and secure our borders as army personnel in the past & present. General Shahbeg was a patriot; what made him fight the army he once commanded?!? The political & military corruption must be exposed so that such betrayals should not happen ever again
