I first met Grandmaster Moses Powell at a tournament in the early 80s in Brooklyn at Nazareth High School thru my teacher Professor Sharriff Nassid ( then 4th deg . Eddie Banks and we were still in High school) great teacher & person : funny too. Then never realizing he had a school at that time on Flatbush Avenue and I live not 2 minutes away on St Johns Place. Osu 🙏🏾

Hailing from the Bahamas under the tutelage of Grandmaster Frankie Adderley, heard many great stories of Dr. Moses Powell. A lot of what's being said sounds very familiar. Keep up the great work. Looking forward to seeing more videos from you all. Oos!!

Great reflections and dedication of and to Dr. Powell. Very few people like this. Fortunate in my life to have known one such man in my life who is deceased. Master Ron Austin. Madame Austin carries it on. And few and far in-between people of this type caliber. Much respect. Osu!!!

Wow, Ron Austin was my barber at one time, I never trained with him though, a loss for me!

@@perseveranceprevails4608 yes... I was blessed to have known him. Trained back in 85... Stay in touch with his wife my current Hanshi. Even went a few rounds with Leon. Great bunch of people to know. Jaribu Family. Proud to be a part of them. Hope once all this clears up I get to go to the headquarters School once again. Jamaica Avenue. Glad to know they're still around and people like you remember. Much respect to you... Ous!!!
