I admire talaga kay Madam Miriam D.Santiago,wala nang katulad nya na babanat walang syang tinatakpan inilabas talaga nya ang totoo.

It's 2024, and I still feel inspired by the legacy of Miriam Defensor Santiago, the late Philippine senator. I often find myself revisiting her speeches and interviews, amazed by her intelligence, wit, and courage. Even though she's no longer with us, her words and ideals continue to resonate with me. Miriam's tireless fight against corruption and her fierce commitment to justice are values that I hold dear, and they keep me motivated to advocate for a better future. I know that I'm not alone-many others share this admiration for her, and her impact will be felt for generations to come. It's an honor to keep her memory alive.

I hope we can reformat our requirements to qualify a candidate for the law making body post. A senator and representative should be a lawyer that could interpret the law and the provisions of the constitution. We should level up our qualifications, not just the basic requirements but a lawyer in any form.

Now that we are here in our present time. As we can see our senators today, the majority of them are not even well-versed in law nor even a lawyer. Talking about former film actors at media men who have no experience in law school, and apparently not so productive as the record shows that this set of senators has the lowest output among all sets of senators in the history of the Philippines..So I agree, that we should add at least being a bar passer as a requirement for being a senator.
