Yes but thats not the only issue. Conversion of Hindus is alarming, some are converting to islam and Christianity due to forced conversion, misleading and tricks like financial help, fake promises, fake healing. So many issues like this. Also we dont get fair treatment in term of religon insult. Some new converts to islam they insult our Hindu religion and never get arrested / jailed. Also they give dakwah in misleading way just to make more followers of their own religon. Sanathana dharma is oldest and eternal religon with vast knowledge even atheist can be under sanathana dharma by following certain school of taught, also believe im 1 God or many devatas also can br under Sanathana dharma. These abrahmic people can digest all these supreme vast knowledge instead they point out what we follow is wrong and make more people convert. Just bcoz they newly came doesnt mean they are truth. God created all.. And many way to reach Him. Just follow what is taught in their own religon since born thats enough

Sun rising on the "Exact East". I love Geography; majored in Geography but was not aware of this simple facts in Life. Indoctrinated by Western Knowledge and Culture has blinded me from my own Rich "Library of Knowledge of the Tamilians" . Please share this knowledge being the Pinnacle of the tip of the Iceberg to ALL we know especially our Family and Friends. Ignorance is Bliss. Hahaha Do you know why the Tamils or Hindus celebrates April 14th as the New Year ? It's notable generally all practices of ancient Hindu civilisation are very scientific. We have been taught in Schools by our Macaulay's System of Englishman's Education that the SUN RISES IN THE EAST and we have been following them blindly for a few hundred years. We THINK that the Sun RISES only in the EAST everyday..... NO! The Sun doesn't 'always' RISE in the EXACT EAST every day. Only on one PARTICULAR DAY it rises at the EXACT EAST point and thereafter it moves gradually towards the NORTH EAST and at an EXTREME POINT it starts moving gradually towards SOUTH EAST again. The Sun's journey from East to North-East, South-East and back to East takes 'exactly' ONE YEAR! 1) The day the Sun starts from "exact" *EAST* is the 1st Day of the Tamil Month of CHITHRA *(சித்திரை 1)* - called as VERNAL EQUINOX in scientific parlance in the month of Mar/Apr! Its celebrated as NEW YEAR by the Tamils & every Hindus! In Sanskrit it's addressed as Mesha Sankranti. 2) The extreme *North-East* point falls on the 1st Day of the Tamil Month of Aadi *(ஆடி 1)*. This day is termed Scientifically as *Summer Solstice* in the month of July/Aug. Its celebrated as Aadi-Perukku Festival *(ஆடிபெருக்கு)*; 3) The Day the Sun returns back to its original "exact" EAST point once again falls on the 1st Day of the Tamil Month of Aipassi *(ஐப்பசி 1)*. This Day is Scientifically termed as the *Autumnal Equinox* in the month of Sep/Oct and on this day we celebrate taking bath in Kaveri Thula Snanam. 4) The day the Sun reaches the extreme *South-East* point falls on the 1st Day of the Tamil Month of THAI *(தை 1)*. This day is Scientifically termed as *Winter Solstice* in the months of Jan/Feb. And is celebrated as the Thai Ponggal or Makara Sankranthi by all Hindus! *Thai Ponggal is never a new year* but celebration of a new season. Strong reasons :- _1. The month Thai is not the first month of the Tamil Calendar but the 10th month of the year._ _2. Chittirai is the first month of the Tamil Calendar._ _3. Chittirai 1st is the only day the sun appears from exact East point._ _4. The propangada of celebrating Thai Ponggal as Tamil New Year was a political move by the atheist movement Dravida Munnetra Kalagham to separate Tamils from the larger Hindu community for their ill motives._ These are the celebrations of the four seasons Spring, Summer, Autumn & Winter. The Hindu Vedic calendar is perfectly based on the movement of the Sun without even possessing any Scientific Equipments like the Bubble Telescope or Super Computers noted the Climatic Changes that occur due to these Solar and Earthly Movements, labelled them as FESTIVALS and 'celebrated' them so that their significance could be grasped and understood even by the Common Man! *I wonder Is there any other calendar in the world which can match the Hindu calendar (panjangam). Important is moral value (dharma) are we being fair and square to all living beings, do good deeds and always think and love God. Those are the common goal of any religion also. If it has its own agenda then better leave such religion and practise at least humanity. 😊
