Santana - Live Aid - July 13, 1985 - Video Upgrade at 2:08 mark from my Master - FM Audio
I had 2 tvs set up for this as I was switching between MTV and the local independent feed on channel 29 in Philadelphia. When one station would go to a commercial, the other feed usually cut back to the show.
I probably should have taped everything that day, but many groups I had zero interest in and I just did not record them all.
It was cooking that day. Brutally hot and high humidity. I was 30 mins north of the statium that was filled with 100,000 plus.
JFK was eventually declared unsafe and torn down to make way for Lincoln Financial Field.
Veterens Stadium in the backdrop was also demolished to make way for Citizens Bank Park.
The Spectrum was between JFK and Veterens Stadium, and that was also torn down and a new venue built in its place, what is now know as The Wells Fargo Center.
