I never understood everyone loving Alex so much.His voice cracks and breaks and is so out of tone really often.I met him once and he cried Poverty to me to me to buy him a drink!Greg Walker is so good-as great as any singer in the world.20 times better than any other singer Carlos has had!!

awaken77 Definitely not, this footage is from 1987, I was refereing to his hair condition today (i.e. playing at the NBA finals this year with no hat on). I think I misunderstood your comment, sorry.

+EmilyWilder Hi - This is/was the Late Great Buddy Miles.He was the drummer with Jimi Hendrix Band Of Gypsies.He sang on Santana's "Freedom" album and did an old not so great Live album called just "Live" which was Carlos's 4th release.Alex Ligterwood is the other guy-he's from Scotland.The Original Santana Band is back together recorded and hopefully a tour-Neal Schon on there too!! kzread.info/dash/bejne/fqpmp8yHYrPRmKQ.html

WOOOOOW THERE are you sayin that you herd it on the grapevine that carlos santana might be touring with neil schon? because its been years they were my first and quite a memoable experience that was down there in oregon oh ya a good ole outdoor concert no fuzz and the staff were therre to help i went to a show die antwoord and my wife got tossed out for smoking a doobie so please get back would love to see carlos at least one mmore time peace out people

There was a video of the first show from the old band playing Vegas recorded and they put out 1 hour of it on AXSTV.I think you masy be able to get a copy from his website.They have done several shows now with both recent and Original members playing but no Tour yet with just the Original Band.You can access about a few hundred Santana concerts including 3 or so that are recent and have Gregg and Neal and about 90,000 other concerts at this link!! sugarmegs.org

What ever possessed Mr Santana to add this new vocalist to what Alex Ligertwood was already doing.? He's a good singer--but the whole thing just doesn't work.

On this set, I agree. But, in general, Ligertwood IS bad-ass! I REALLY miss the great Buddy Miles. H and Carlos were meant to work together. TREMENDOUS loss of talent.
