Cool to see this beautiful, classic EMD restored and running again!

nice video I used to play with my toy trains, and Santa Fe (red one) was the classic, in the early eighties. I never thought that the driver would be so far from the window, This happens on all trains, the distance where the driver sits from the main window of the train? I find the position uncomfortable, I find it too far away

Not all trains of course. On this particular engine, this is where the engineer sits though.

To bad 108 doesn’t have that beautiful horn

I have a question. To they usually put trains on display at the platforms at where you are leaving for boarding. If not, where do you find southern pacific, and Union Pacific?

Yes. You can observe the operating trains and take photos. Much of the rest of the collection is also on display on property when not running. You are free to explore most of the museum grounds at leisure. Some sections are off limits for storage, restorations, workshops, etc, but are clearly marked.
