If we want to achieve something in the world, we look for a master. For example, if we want to develop a talent within us, if we want to further our education in some area, we need a master, a teacher who can guide us there. For spiritual knowledge, too, we need a master who is able to impart this knowledge to us. Otherwise we remain blind. Love all, let go of your ego, be humble because of your ignorance, so that you become receptive to the grace of a master. The ultimate reality is found within us in the form of light and sound. It is not found in temples, churches or stones. A true master will give the first-hand experience at the time of initiation itself. The master is God himself, he is the Word personified, the sound current that is the source and essence of all that exists. It is the only truth. (Sant Khem Singh ji)
