I just picked up one at a flea market by accident and they said it was for parts only, no left channel. So I bought it and tested all speaker inputs, A, B, A&B, Left, Right, Front, Back, 2 and 4 channel and they all work, I could not believe it. Phono, Aux, Tape Monitor 1 and 2 inputs all work. AM/FM works. It is very dirty and still needs a diagnostic evaluation and thorough cleaning inside and out and just replace the fuses so its all clean. I have a B&O 2423 ready to be picked up and this will go in next. Your video is very helpful. Thank you!

Bart Lewis Dallas, TX. G9700 is a totally different beast by the way and can be expensive to service. (If they blow up, they *really* blow up!) See my facebook page at facebook.com/AndrewsElectronics The facebook page is monitored MUCH more frequently.

Nope. You'll need to have yours repaired. Whole spare boards are EXTREMELY rare; repair is the only option available in almost all cases.

Andrew, thank you your prompltly response. I´m a prospective buyer of a 7001 and the owner lost both board due to unscrupulous tech, missing with it. Reproduction may be the last plan but demands sikilled professional to do it. Thanks!

I suggest using a photographic process to duplicate the solder mask. You'll likely need to depopulate and clear off excess solder on a working board to get a useful image for the mask though.

According my research, the QRX design is the same of board driver of Sansui 8080. In my case, it´s easier to find and by new components.

Make sure the PCB numbers match. If they don't, beware of possible small differences that may have huge (ie really bad!) consequences if interchanged without making the appropriate modifications.
